Thanks, Steve.
Posting designs like this one makes me paranoid, because I can’t shake the feeling that it’s not original. I enjoyed the process regardless, but please let me know if somebody else beat me to the idea!

Pottermore
Just got my Pottermore email and I've been placed in Hufflepuff. Was my second choice after Gryfindor but am in a bit of a sulk as I have a stoopid sparkling vampire in my house that needs to be killed immediately.

I wanted to write something about the Red Arrows today. I went to Bournemouth Air Show on Saturday and was lucky enough to see them perform a spectacular display which had many people, me included, as giddy as a child. The Red Arrows have always filled me with excitement and make me regress to being 5 again, watching them for the first time, sheltering my ears as they fly past, smoke streaming from behind.
To me they embody the spirit of being British, sat on the beach with a picnic and ice cream, wide eyed as they make their mark in the sky. But above all they make me proud of my country, quite an extrodinary feat after recent events with the riots. Then I took a call from my sister Saturday afternoon who informed me of the fatal crash that took Flight Lieutenant Jon Eggings life. We didn't know it had been fatal at the time but as news trickled around the beach it was clear to me that everyone was affected in some way.
I signed the book of condolences in the town hall and joined hundreds of other people on the beach for a beautiful candlelight vigial to say goodbye. Although I never met Jon Egging for 25 mins on Saturday afternoon he made me and thousands of others the happiest people on the planet. Quite an extraordinary achievement for a man of only 33.

1 Trillion dollars! Mwahahaha
A quick thought for the day. The US have borrowed over 1 trillion dollars. 1 TRILLION, if they paid back a dollar a second it would take 31,709 years to pay back! USA you are screwed!

Australia
So I've recently found out that I am still young enough to go to Australia. I thought you had to apply before you were 30 but it turns out it's before you are 31 so I have decided to try and save as much as I can to be able to go. I have been before but only for 3 months and this time I want to go over to work and travel. However there are a few things I have to do first though:
1. Divemaster course: This has been going on for ages now, almost 3 years which is waaayyyy to long as it can been done in a number of weeks. So I have decided to study at least an hour an evening to get this out the way. As I can't remember anything I am starting from the very beginning which means I have an awful lot to get through. I have started today but it is very difficult with my sis and bro-in-law trying to talk to me every 30 seconds as they are moving the house round and want me to help. I think they have finally got the hint now but I seem to be writing a blog and not studying...hmmmmm.
2. Quitting smoking: An evil and disguisting habit that really pisses me off but I really like it! However it is costing me £35 a week which needs to be going into the Australia fund therefore tomorrow I will be quitting. I will update on how I am getting on.
3. Dentist: I hate dentists, they are all evil but my teeth are not so good at the mo which needs to be sorted. Payday on the 9th so I will have to call them and get an appointment in....scary
4. Lose some weight: I really need to do this as having an office job means all I do is eat all day, also I will have to join a gym to keep the weight off from stopping smoking
So that is my list and I need to achieve most of it by March next year, I'm hoping I will do as I so want to travel again.
Sorry for the slightly boring post but this is a list for me rather than anyone else but I thought I would put it on here to motovate myself everytime I log on. So time to stop skiving and do some studying!
