How tall do I stand and how far is my reach? This panoramic macro photo captures the top 5 inches of a bush otherwise buried in 4 feet of snow in Logan Canyon. A panning technique was utilized to capture its shadow measuring 4-5 times the height of the bush, which was projected by the rays of a bright low rising winter sun. There is life analogy that this natural phenomenon encourages. The sunlight strikes the bush top causing a silhouetted replica to reach across the sparkling frozen snow. Similarly, the Light of Christ touches each of us. If we will bask in that light, stand as tall as we can - even while buried in the depths of winter snows. An influence for good will be cast to others even to exceed our efforts to stand in the light. It is the Light of even Jesus Christ, by His grace, that will give any of us strength to stand if we desire it.
