“it’s a bit of an odd sensation you know... Having a body.” They said looking at their hands. They opened and closed them looking thoughtful.
“Anyone can do jokes!” The ghost said nodding as he floated down a bit looking tired. “So what brings you by? Did you find new books to share?” The ghost asked curious if the other was going to help newer guardians.
[☿] “Ah. No. No books this time, Ghost. More scripts and scribbles, though. It seems my visions are getting a tad overwhelming. Images are getting darker, and I’m afraid of what is to come. Something we haven’t seen in quite a long time might approach our small haven. Then again, this isn’t a new ordeal. It seems that this little sector of the Universe attracts all kinds of things.
“Well, we do have a focal point of ‘Don’t touch this, it’s powerful and ours.’ so I imagine that would attract alot of people. Our guardians also seem to enjoy getting themselves into more trouble then what should honestly be acceptable. Who just decides to kill a god? Honestly.” The ghost said rolling its eye.
“Oh, Little Ghost…” Efrideet murmured, reaching out for the tiny thing. It drifted towards the ground and she knelt beside it, taking in the sight of its SIVA-infected shell. “I’m so sorry.”
She swallowed, setting her hands in her lap. This was all her fault. She should have kept a better eye on her Ghost, should have protected it the way it protected her. Efrideet watched it float up to her once again, with what little energy it seemed to have, and heard the little tap of its shell against her helmet. She sighed and lifted a hand to nudge it away, then pulled off her helmet, silver hair falling down her back.
Flipping her helmet upside down, she held it out as an offering—it would be easier to carry the Ghost that way. She could get them both home, even though she knew her Ghost believed that was its job, not hers. In the end, they were supposed to see each other home safe.
“It’s okay, I know the way back,” she replied, gesturing again. No matter how hard it tried, she would still worry. Maybe once they were back, someone else would know what to do. Maybe one of the Vanguard— Only maybe. “Come on. Let’s go home.”
@travlersghost continued from here.
She stared at the helmet before drifting into it. The ghost knew she shouldn’t be settling so easily into the helmet. She had seen what past ghosts had done. She shuddered thinking back to guardians that had jerkily attacked them. Their foot work sloppy, their cries of pain as Efrideet defeated them. Their ghost’s light flickering out. Her blue eye looked around the helmet. She could feel it creeping and digging into her guardian’s helmet. It was numbing to think that of this sensation to be caused by her. She should be alerting her of the infection, she should be resting in the helmet while she still posed so much danger to her guardian. “We, should go see the speaker.” The ghost said looking up at her hunter. The worries she fumbled over started to dissolve seeing her guardian. She was here, she was with her in the snow. It was like after any other battle, they could pretend she had whined till Efrideet had agreed to carry her back to the temple. They could pretend there wasn’t a problem eating away at the ghost. Their light was strong and could weather this storm as well.

Ghost hovers over and touches top of his helmet. “Safe.”
“Tag is always an option. Lord Saladin can be home base!”
“Make sure you don’t hit ghosts!!”
“ don’t you pass out on me ”
@mawethThe ghost shifted in the dirt. It’s blue optic flickered. Most of it’s fins were gone. It looked at the guardian trying to lift itself out of the dirt. It was so tired, it just wanted to go back to the tower and rest. When it tired to speak it’s words were nothing but static. It looked down the blackness starting to take over more. It was so tired.
“ i’m just so tired ”
“We can’t rest yet! We have to reach the temple!” The ghost pushed against the other’s helmet trying to keep her moving. “We can sleep on the wolves!”

“Looking for my guardian ofcourse!” The ghost said peering into a building.
Cyra looked at the little Ghost curiously. “How long have you been searching for your Guardian?” She asked. It was interesting to see the Ghost searching. She knew some Ghosts could search for centuries and never find them.
Requiem once confessed she’d been looking for Cyra for over 900 years.
“Too long.” The ghost confessed. It didn’t want to think about the passing years. “I don’t really want to keep track.” The ghost confessed moving to try and dig through a sand dune. “Too long is going to always be my answer though.”
The ghost floated around the SIVA vain that ripped through the landscape. It scanned the vain going under it. Before following to where it met the ground. It carefully tapped the vain, it had seen guardians climb all over it like it was their own jungle gym. “I wonder how far down it goes.” The ghost said scanning the base.
