Explorar tradiciones orales, folclores, mitos y cuentos a través del teatro ha sido una constante estos últimos meses. En escuelas, centros culturales autogestionados e incluso en la cárcel local, he encontrado muchísimas historias y personas con mucho talento. ¿Adónde me lleva esta llamada teatral? ¿Cuántas historias aún permanecen ocultas a mis ojos, esperando ser escuchadas? Esta recuperación de narrativas y voces viejas puestas en escena es un largo y nuevo camino por explorar, lejos de las formas tradicionales y convencionales de hacer teatro. El escenario, los actores y las historias están (siempre han estado) ahí fuera: en pueblos lejanos, cárceles, una plaza, una calle, una reunión de personas que comparten palabras en tiempos digitales e inciertos. ¿ Cuál es la nueva cara del teatro que viene?
Voices, Stories And Magic Onstage
Exploring oral traditions, folklores, myhts and tales through theatre have been a constant this last months . In schools, self-managed cultural centers and even in the local jail I've found lots of stories and very talented persons. Where is this theatrical call taking me to ? how many stories are still hidden to my eyes and waiting to be heard ? This retrieval of narratives and old voices put onstage is a long and new road to explore, far from traditionals and convetionals ways of making theatre. The stage, the actors and stories are (have always been) out there: in distant villages, jails, a square, a street, a gathering of people sharing words againts digital and uncertain times. What's the new face of theatre to come ?
