2015 has certainly been a whirlwind of a year. I started out the year devastated that I hadn’t qualified for worlds at oireachtas. In January, I found out that I had the opportunity to compete at worlds as a next in line dancer and I was ecstatic. I had the time of my life in Montreal with some amazing people and I will never forget it. Nationals went better than I could have ever expected. After not recalling for 2 years, I placed 28th, just 8 places away from worlds. I still can’t believe it and it was such amazing experience. After nationals I went to CRC, and had so much fun being in parody with my favorite people. At oireachtas I danced the three rounds of my life, and although it wasn’t enough to qualify me for worlds, I was happy to spend my (probably) last oireachtas in Dallas where my competitive career began. Seeing Lord of the Dance and meeting Michael Flatley and few weeks later in New York was icing on the cake! Special shoutout to my hunt school fam and my u17 girls for supporting me throughout this crazy year. Who knows what 2016 will bring, or if I’ll even be dancing this time next year, but I’m ready for whatever God has prepared for me. Here’s to 2016 😊🎉
