When I was 11 and stopped playing with my Barbies, I mummified my favorites. I rinsed them with wine and spices, covered them in salt, wrapped them in ace bandages, and placed them in fabulous bejeweled sarcophagi. They were laid to rest with all their favorite shoes, clothes, furniture, and accessories. Fabulous in life; fabulous in afterlife.
