making the grace quilt DAY ONE

okay so first note is that I’m Not Actually quilting this. I’m crocheting. Gotta play to my skills somehow I don’t even know how to use a sewing machine okay.

so I have A Vague Plan Of Measurements:

And decided that was enough for me. Aka I’m just winging it okay.

step two was looking for yarn so I pulled out everything my mom and I have because like it’s A Lot of colors so if I can use a bunch of scrap yarn that would be great.

step three is the blue and white square with the hands and the hearts. Working from the top left down. I thought I had a nice blue yarn that was like the heathered pattern thingy whatever with white in it.

I do not have enough. Starting with the purple shooting star square, I guess.

ANYWAY I’ve decided to basically journal the process because I have free will etc etc. stay tuned have a good day I will hopefully get this done by the end of the summer 🤞

Like the small detail, that both Robert and Waterboy have noticable eyebags. The reason why for Robert is clear, but for Waterboy you have to read between the lines a bit (primary caretaker for his grandma, stressed 24/7 bc of his anxiety, bad sleeping habits, gets bullied on the job, probably doesn't take any kind of meds bc no money and grandma + cats go first)

I want to see Waterboy breaking down in season 2, but not because of anger this time. That or him lashing out on Flambae, who made fun of him for living with his grandma (he believes, Waterboy has no responsibilies and so on).

YES!! his goggles kind of obscure them but you cannot tell me there won’t be visible signs of stress on herm 24/7 with the life he’s lived, I fw his brow line shadow being darker as well. I mean, he’s also a WICKED workaholic. Its not as obvious as Robert but I can imagine he’s so accustomed to staying busy due to his home life
