The storms didn't come south tonight, so I drove up north to meet them. This was just south of Guthrie during the blue hour. Look at that striation!
This afternoon's storm that I wasn't paying much attention to an hour before packed a punch. I ended up riding it out in a gas station parking lot outside of Blanchard. Second photo is the shelf cloud right on top of me.
Brno, Czechia.
I've seen a lot of churches over the years and Matthias Church in Budapest is by far one of the most memorable. Every inch of it was covered in simple decor. Instead of feeling busy or overwhelming, though, it was lovely and inviting. The color palette had a lot to do with that. We were even treated to an organ concert while inside.
My daughter was communicating with friends and sending photos (side note: it was a bit irritating that our wifi connection was better there than from our flat) and one of them said: "Wow. You can text Jesus from that church."
