When I woke up today, my Instagram feed was overflowing with posts from bloggers and friends sharing their exciting adventures at NYFW. Photographs of bright yellow cabs zooming across Manhattan, the sun shining down on bustling streets, and coffee cups steaming against a background of subways and fashionable shoe selfies... And while it looks absolutely amazing, it still definitely stings. It's surreal to think about how this time last year I was applying for jobs in the city, so hopeful and excited about a new year and a new beginning. Little did I know that a couple weeks later, within the month of October, I would fly to NYC to interview as assistant to the EIC of Teen Vogue AND Sean's dad would get "pneumonia" which we would later learn was actually terminal cancer. I could be at NYFW right now, working my dream job... and one day I know I will be! But as for now I'm letting God plan my future and I'm being here for my love! Trying to stay positive and remember my blessings! - - Just thought I'd share what's on my mind this morning! I โค๏ธ NY. {#TrendyLindy}
