I’m the master of disappearing acts. I never stay too long, and I never come back uncultivated. I understand the importance of reinvention and separation. Sometimes, It takes a leave of absence for people to appreciate and understand the emotions that they’ve felt when they realize that you’re no longer around. “But you can never love people as much as you can miss them" and I believe that to be true in many ways. I’ve realized that I will only grow where I am cultivated. I am in complete understanding of self. I am in complete understanding of value. The gold that you’ve kept hidden, the wings that they can’t see, gives reason to a bittersweet feeling when people dwindle out of your life. It is very rare that people want to water you and watch you grow. They just want the flower after it’s bloomed. Nobody wants the cocoon. I no longer believe in half-ways. Too many times I’ve settled for less than what I deserve and I’ll never do it again. I’m all about detoxification leading to new energies. Anything that is no longer serving you purpose, happiness, or growth has to be terminated. Spring clean your psyche.

Even the fluoride can’t poison your third eye and I still call you sun because you still shine like one and I still call you God because I see him in you and I still know that you are King even with all those chains on you. They hung our bodies, leave our souls on the pavement. They still got niggas for sale but those niggas think that they’ve made it And I want to believe that a revolution can begin.. but how can you un-hang someone that doesn’t see the noose that’s still right below their chin?
