Charlotte’s November 2020 rent was covered! Thanks to everyone who donated and shared! I’m putting a more detailed explanation of her needs below the “keep reading” , but for now, here is a list of the most crucial places she still needs support.

General :

Rent + utilities: $440

Medical / accessibility:

General physician:    $110

(hopefully she can qualify for a sliding fee scale and this will be cheaper)

Cardiologist consultation:   $350-$666

(this is a huge range, but unfortunately it’s as specific as I could get over the phone. Obviously the more we can cover the better)

Charlottes dental health is worsening and she needs to have several teeth and part of her jaw removed because they are rotting. She is in immense pain and any amount helps! Charlotte was able to go to a clinic to get a general checkup, but they weren’t very helpful, refusing to prescribe painkillers. I was able to grab some OTC meds from the store that seem to be helping, but it looks like the best option right now is to go to a legit Oral Surgeon and just try to get the cost down as low as it can. I’m going to schedule an appointment ASAP on Monday, but we have no idea how much it will cost. I talked to her and she agreed that getting her teeth taken care of is urgent, and we can figure out cost later. Thanks for everyone who’s helped so far, you’ve helped to numb the pain for Charlotte while she waits for care. She still still needs to cover December rent ($440), and really really needs a mobility scooter, for physical and mental health.

Help Gender-fluid Single Parent Who’s in a Bind

Theyre raising 4 kids pretty much all on their own because their sister was recently in a car accident. Theyre struggling. They need help with groceries, supplies, baby supplies, toiletries, copays on doctor visits and medications. 

And today specifically, they’re trying to come up with money for dinner I’m trying to come up with money for groceries for this month. 

Also Maddie has to take prescription medications for some of the mental illnesses that she faces and their niece has a couple medications for that same reason and Maddie’s sister obviously has the medications that she’s been taking since the car accident. 

Theyve been struggling to get by; they dont have a car, bills are stacking up and like I said cards are in the negatives by hundreds. Maddie’s daughter is only 2 years old and she needs supplies like diapers and whole milk.

I’m incredibly sick and really just trying to stay out of the ER as the Emergency Rooms in maricopa county (phoenix AZ) are overwhelmed with corona. I need $200 for some over the counter medications my insurance wont cover that are ridiculously overpriced otherwise I’ll just have to go to the ER again.

If you’ve followed my blog you would know how terrifying the ER’s are here right now. The last time I went for my kidney issues I waited in the phoenix heat [which is currently supposed to hit 115f or ~46c] outside for hours, risking exposure to corona which would further overwhelm the ER here, when I was admitted I was there for over 13 hours and in that time I didn’t get water or an IV. If you know about bad kidneys … you would know that can kill people.

My name is Madison and I’ve been through hell the past 8 months, I just got over a staph infection not too long, I’m still healing (my body was scarred from the sores) I still have to take medication to help my (compromised) immune system recover. On top of that, trying to get my monthly mental health medication has seemed impossible ($58), gas to be able to get to my doctors appointments, copays for those doctors appointments, food for myself and my daughter and diapers for my daughter. I haven’t been able to work since I got the Staph Infection and got fired from my job when I got the Staph Infection because “my face shouldn’t look like that”: I’m looking for a new job currently and am still waiting to hear back from the disability office since I tried to sign up (due to my mental health complications), If anyone could help with anything, I would be beyond deeply appreciative.
