hiii! this'll probably turn into a musings blog, but i'm using this to make a call for some new 1x1 roleplay partners! read below to know more about me and what i'm into ♡

i'm 25+ and ideally looking for other muns that are 25+ as well, but will accept anyone 23+

i lean towards using korean entertainment fcs with a sprinkle of other asian entertainment fcs as well, however i'm fine with my partner using whoever they prefer! though you'll definitely get all of my love and adoration if you're someone who doesn't shy away from using fcs and making muses that are 30+ too

i also lean towards para rps preferably, with me writing around 3 paragraphs per post ⏤ i can stray into novella if we really get into it lol. however i don't expect partners to match as long as you give me something to work with

unforch i work a draining full time job which means i'll mainly be available in the evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends if i don't have plans ( cst / cdt ). post activity also might be on the lower side due to this, possibly 1-2 ( para ) posts a week, but can be more if i get invested in our plot. but i'm happy to supplement with texting / social media posts / short rapid fire threads in between! i also like multi-threading and having different ships at once especially if we vibe

life is lifing for all of us so i'm not the type to harp on someone about replying, though i would value communication if muse is waning or if things are happening that are stopping you from replying normally, i'll do the same as well

very much into plotting in depth especially if we haven't written together before. not every single thing needs to be plotted, but it makes me much more eager for interactions if we have plotting chemistry

i might be a tad bit shy ooc but like most i'd love to talk as well! stuff like headcanons, random scenarios, moodboards, musings, pinterest boards, etc. while not necessary i would like to build an ooc friendship!

in terms of genres i'm a fan of a healthy mix of fluff and angst, highs and lows, changing dynamics. i don't like it when plots are 100% of either extreme. i'm particularly fond of slice of life, high society / rich kids, toxic relationships, enemies to lovers, corrupt the cutie, modern royalty, opposites attract, pining, or even platonic plots like found family or broken friendships. i'm also into darker and some taboo things like age gap, cheating, power imbalance relationships ( teacher x student, boss x employee, etc. ) also fine with smut, but i would like there to be a plot along with it instead of being straight pwp. i do have an old wishlist tag here with some plots as well if you need even more ideas, but really i'm open new experiences too!

secret dating   ⠀ ⠀ —  ⠀ ⠀ muse a and muse b have been in the same band for a while and after a few late night practice sessions things started to shift. they realized there was a spark between them. so it wasn’t long before they started seeing each other but with fear the change in their dynamic could cause tensions in the band they’ve decided to keep it secret (though how long do secrets like this ever really stay secret)

on the verge of a break-up   ⠀ ⠀ —  ⠀ ⠀ muse a and muse b started this band together forever ago. they’ve always loved each other and getting able to live their dreams together. but now that they’ve made it big (or are on the verge of making it big) things have changed. whether its artistic differences ( different visions for the bands future / one wanting to pursue a solo / etc ) or a shift in one’s character ( fame is getting to one’s head / the life style is leading to questionable judgement / the band is no longer one’s priority / etc ) it’s causing tensions between the pair. they’re tiptoeing around each other to not break the band up but a blow up is inevitable. 

welcome to the band now get out   ⠀ ⠀ —  ⠀ ⠀ after one of the bands most vitals members decides to leave the group, the band is now looking for someone to fill the empty space. it just so happens muse a is the perfect fit for the group but muse b is not all that thrilled about welcoming them into the group. maybe they have a past no one knows about or maybe they simply can’t stand each other, you decide!

the start of something great   ⠀ ⠀ —  ⠀ ⠀ what would band plots even be if there wasn’t one based off lemonade mouth. strangers coming together to form a band. muse a and muse b are an unlikely duo, but after [ event ] they’ve come together and discovered they sound good together. muse a had the idea that they start a band because they really have potential to make it big, but how exactly does one start a band… leave it to muse a and muse b to figure it out.

pining & fame don’t mix well  ⠀ ⠀ —  ⠀ ⠀ muse a and muse b have been friends for ages. they have an amazing bond and make magic when they’re on the stage together. now that they’ve had their big break they’re turning heads left and right. muse a is the front of the band ( and naturally the most popular member ). social media has deemed muse a to be the next big heart throb. only problem is muse b has been in love with muse a for years but never had the courage to confess… now they’re not ever sure they’ll have to do it.

II   ⠀ ⠀ —  ⠀ ⠀ this one is a little different and not between band mates. muse a is part of a famous / upcoming group and they tend to work with a lot of new people. muse b is someone who works closely with the group ( a manager, back-up performer, producer, head of the label, etc; ) and for more reasons than one they have to keep their rendezvous hidden. if muse b is in a higher position of power / influence at the band’s label it could cause extra juicy drama… like ‘no wonder you get more spotlight than the rest of the band you’re sleeping with the ceo’

What is going on with cutting posts?

You may have seen some posts floating around lately about the beta editor and trimming reblogs, and possibly found yourself extremely confused trying to figure out what this tangled web of editors, extensions, and add-ons even means. I’ve been on this site for years, and I still find the whole thing terribly confusing.

So this post is my effort to explain everything – legacy vs beta, New XKit vs XKit Rewritten, editable reblogs vs trim reblogs – everything. This also doubles as a tutorial for the various methods of cutting posts.

TL;DR

Tumblr is in the process of switching to a new post editor that some old users have opted into, while new users have been forced into it.

The old Editable Reblogs extension does not work with this new editor, requiring people to use a new extension called Trim Reblogs.

Trim Reblogs and Editable Reblogs are not compatible. If your partner uses Editable Reblogs, you cannot cut their posts properly using Trim Reblogs (unless you’re willing to do some tedious and frankly unreasonable workarounds).

The only way for everyone in the RPC to cut their posts properly and efficiently is if everyone moves to the new system and uses Trim Reblogs. Clinging to the old system with Editable Reblogs is actively creating issues for the people using the new system – some of whom do not have a choice.

how about a 1x1 where we each choose a birthday for our character. we then look up the various forms of zodiac and astrological signs and predictions for that character and make their personalities strictly in line with their sign. we can check their horoscopes every once in a while and make them act out whatever it says for that day. virgo will have a meaningful conversation with someone today? the virgo has to bring up a very serious topic that day. scorpio has energy and should use that to clean out their life? the scorpio suddenly decides to clean out their apartment and accidentally throws away the other character’s things. there would always be a way to mix up the plot by just checking that day’s horoscope, and their personalities would basically be written already.
