HELLO!!! (Wika/Teto here) I finally decided to do my VOCALOID homework, since it's kinda funny i take part in blog about vocaloids knowing nothing about them *_*...

So here's what i learned about Teto:

●Basic info:

Voice: Mayo Oyamano

Creator:TWINDRILL

,,Birthday": April 1st 2008

Code:0401

Gender: chimera

●Creation: Following the rising popularity of Hatsune Miku, "Vippers" (Vip News Bulletin@2ch users) schemed a troll "new VOCALOID release" as an April Fool's joke. Sen (線) provided the rough sketch and Mayo Oyamano (小山乃 舞世) provided the vocal. The Teto project continued after the troll campaign, and her vocal was recorded again for the use on UTAU.

●Although TECHNICALLY she isn't a VOCALOID since it's programme owned by Yamaha, and she's UTAU, you still can call her that because vocaloid in colloquiall language now is simply name for voice synthetizors.

●The first cover song using Teto was created as early as April 6, 2008, and her signature song "耳のあるロボットの唄 (Mimi no Aru Robot no Uta)" was published on June 10 by Mimirobo-P.

Since then several creators started to create Teto songs. Some of these early works include "Fake Diva", "Triple Baka", "Kasane Territory", and "Popipo Mk-II".

●  Her surname (重音) literally means ,,heavy sound" or ,,overlapped sound" and name ,,テト" ,,Teto" comes from Tetospettenson a parody song of Le Beau Tambour

● What does gender:chimera mean? Teto isn't strictly male or female (although she is often seen as feminine), she's a mythical hybrid often depicted as mix of animalistic traits. Since she started as a joke, fans who created her also wanted to make her gender ambiguous, and ended up making her Chimera. From what i know her swirls made out of hair are supposed to represent horns, so cute!=]

●What about jokes that she's polish vocaloid? I didn't find a specific reason as for why, but from what i understand teto is multilingual UTAU, she can sing in several languages. Although technically Polish isn't one of them, her speech is actually really coherent and she's (from what i know) only ,,vocaloid" that you can easly understand when you make them use polish. Because of that people used her voice to cover a lot of Polish songs, and hence came the joke that we should adopt her. The fact that her hair are red and in one of the designs has white ribbon makes her fit Polish flag very well.

Today i arrive to share my second take on Polish-TobbacoAddict-Teto.

This time however, instead of presenting honorable-knight-hussar-Teto, i am going to show you...

*A dramatic pause*

LOWLIFE-ADIDASFAN-TETO!!!

there's this polish saying- ,,Na trzy paski lecą laski", which you could translate as ,,for three stripes ladies fall". It's often used by so called ,,kibole", football fans who let's just say... are not very, gentelmen-ish. Their main characteristic is their obsession with adidas/nike tracksuits, using swears and slurs as comma and drinking alcohol everywhere but in designated areas.

And, so, i present to you, Pato-Teto!!! (Pato like patological)

And it’s time for Neruu !!!

My dear best friend Wika inspired me to draw Neru in polish folk clothes, since she drew Teto in hussaria armor. Her dress was inspired by Mazowieckie traditional clothing.

And some facts about her!!

—> i was surprised to find out that Neru is a Fanloid! She was created as a response to mean comments about Miku/vocaloid music in 2007. A lot of comments that defended the agency/ Japanese TV station (that was very disrespectful about people who enjoy vocaloid music) had phrases like „ got bored . Going to bed” and thats how Neru’s name was created!!!

—> Specifically her name is a play of words: "Akita" (飽きた) means "get bored," and "Neru" (寝る) means "to go to bed" or „i’m going to sleep”. Probably because of that she is often described as lazy. She’s also a tsundere.

—> Crypton adopted Neru on April 1, 2008, as a derivative character of Hatsune Miku.

—> She actually has a younger brother: Akita Nero

—> Neru has no voicebank of her own, ofc that doesn’t mean she has no voice: Instead, her voice is represented in fan works and official media by using a synthesized version of Hatsune Miku's voice, often pitched up or phone sounds like clicking.

Please tell me if i messed up when it comes to fanfacts, i’m not sure if i got everything right. :^

Also doodles/ process and one of the inspiration to the dress. Sience hussaria was in middle ages (?) it made me think of them in that era, and how much Neru would be angry ‚cause there are no phones there shshshshshs.

🫧 My first song ever was „01_ballade” produced by Eiji Hirasawa AND I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH! trust me it’s amazing everyone should listen to this peak

🫧 My most popular song is „Aishite Aishite Aishite” by kikuo! I’m probably going to his concert in Kraków next year >:) (I don’t count mesmerizer cause I hate this song and it’s a duet song so it doesn’t count!)

🫧 I’m the most popular vocaloid among all but the most polular vocaloid doesn’t belong to me - It belongs to Kagamine Rin - Young girl A by siinamota (rest in peace)

Hiiii! It’s Kaito here! I’m really exited to write this blog because it will be about me and my history! So let’s begin! :D (from Ruda: It won’t be a good and long blog about his history because I’m not really good at this, so take this with grain of salt 😭)

My history begin in February 14, 2006 and I was created by Yamaha Corporation and distributed by Crypton Future Media, Inc. The one that gave me my beautiful voice is Naoto Fuga, the famous Japanese singer.

My very first song was at 2003 with my prototype voice and it’s name is „Ano Subarashii Ai o Mo Ichido” and I sang it with my friend Meiko :3, but my the most famous early song is „Cedrilion” that was released in 2008.

Greetings! (It's admin Wika/Teto here)

Soooooo... i admit, i'm not really deep into vocaloids lore. I don't know much, so i'm not the best person to doubt someone who clearly knows more about vocaloids then me. That is why, i have no idea if it's true or not that Teto is canonicly addicted to tobacco and is ,,Polish" vocaloid.

What i know for sure though, is that i simply LOVE that concept, and that is why i drew her in Polish hussaria armor.

Hussaria originally was light armed cavalry, but quickly transformed into heavy one. It was formed in early XVI century and disbaned in late XVIII century. What makes Husaria so special, are the wings attached to any part of armor or saddle. Said wings scared of horses of enemies, which benefited Polish army, it's so cool!=]

Also, since ciggarets weren't around that time, my friend(Bobi/Neru) suggested i should draw her smoking from pipe, so here she is.=P
