My new shrine for Hekate is coming along nicely. I painted a little shelf thing from Michael’s and used the beautiful wrapping paper I bought from @poisonappleprintshop to line the back.
Birthday present from my big brother :)

bought this necklace as a symbol of my respect for Hecate~
Prayer to Hekate for Vengeance and Justice
Hekate, Thea Deinos, I have been wronged
Come with the Furies and your entourage of infernal spirits
Bring righteous vengeance upon he who has wronged me
Hekate Brimo, terrifying Dread Queen of the Infernal Realms, bring swift justice
I ask for your aid to wreak vengeance upon my enemies and right the wrongs done against me
May he tremble before your awesome power and feel the wrath of the Three Formed Queen
Hekate, look upon me with favor and answer my prayer!

Read stories about ghosts or spirits
Burn incense blends that make you feel magical and in control
Greet animals, especially ones with black fur
Go on nighttime adventures
Wear makeup or clothes that make you feel powerful and confident
Get some plants that bloom/thrive at night
Be the ‘guiding light’ for others, however that looks for you
Sit in a room with all the lights off, burn a candle if you need to
Keep track of the moon phases, do things associated with each one
Incoporate darker colors into you home or outfits
PRACTICE LOVING YOURSELF

I call to Hekate, who stands at the crossroad,
who stands at the city gate, who stands before
each family's home, to watch and to ward off evil.
Bearer of torches, leader of hounds, holder of keys,
daughter of the deep earth and the starry sky,
you tread upon the path less traveled; you walk,
with certainty and without fear, in the dark night,
in the wilderness, along roads most treacherous,
among those who skirt the edges of order.
Hekate, friend of women, protector of children,
you know the perils of all the worlds, goddess,
as each world is your realm to wander. Thus do you
hold safe the home, thus do you bar the door from all ill,
thus do you drive away the baneful and the false.
Hekate, compassionate goddess, I call to you.
By Torch-bearing HeKate, I summon thee by blood, by honey, and by rose. Goddess of Howling Dogs and Gorgon’s cries in the hours of night HeKate Einodia, Trioditis
Michael W. Ford a shorter evocation or perhaps just a prayer… (via vintagedarque)
Finally I received my Hekate statue. I am thrilled. My Titaness is here, Goddess of the Crossroads, Witchcraft and Sorccery. My Elphame Queen. Governor of the Heavens, the Earth and the Oceans.
