i think starting to learn french was just the start of my downfall

ever since I've begun going down the Romance Rabbit Hole™ of "what if I learn Occitan?" "what if I learn Norman?" "what if I learn Catalan?" "What if I learn Walloon?" etc etc and it's great but also awful because WHERE am I gonna find resources to learn...like...Mirandese??

I need to find more conlang moots on tumblr, i want to learn someone's conlang, i want to make obscure soundchange law references with people. I want to hypothesis with yall about what yalls proto lang couldve looked like (without hints ofc if u do have a proto lang).

Got a new text to translate into one of my languages! The question being: which language? At the moment I'm stuck between:

Phaeroian, tried and tested—Greco-Arabic with a twist.

Rhaeth, Welsh-ish with no pronouns and Korean-style politeness in verbs.

Narragundi, Australian Aboriginal-style with times of day marked on nouns.

Kshamakaraktha, basically Sanskrit if it was, in fact, Georgian.

Wa'aqr, Arabic with morphology based on body parts.

Like I said, stuck. Any preferences?

To those who follow me:

I'm a conlanger. I make constructed languages. I am rather fond of a fair few of those languages, including Phaeroian, which has just over 1,200 words. I should like to get it to 3,000 words at some point, but for now 2,100 should be good. In order to achieve this, I would very much like something to translate.

Any suggestions?
