“If someone thinks that peace and love are just a cliche that must have been left behind in the 60s, that’s a problem. Peace and love are eternal.” ― John Lennon

Education is important. And access to quality education should be universal. As schools are closed due to Covid-19 pandemic, the biggest impact it had on vulnerable & marginalized children living in poverty & rural areas, who don't have access to online learning & study materials. Is every child getting equal opportunity to learn & Is government doing enough to reach out to every child so that they can have equal access to education in this challenging, new situation??

Love is love. It is pure in all forms. It is pride 🌈
The Covid-19 pandemic has hit us hard. And to the marginalized children it is proving to be more disruptive.
Due to the series of lockdown in the country, the children are out of school for a long period of time, for these marginalised children, school was their only place to learn and for many of them it was a source of getting nutrition too.
And now because of the economic burden in the lower strata families, their children risk never returning to the school again, as they are being forced to child labour and child marriage.😢
The government must come up with special education programmes and social protection measures to help these children. If the government do not act urgently now, these children will have to lose their education, their health and their future. And this is a loss that cannot be recovered. 🙏
It's time to END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN NOW! It's time to Orange The World 🧡🌍
November 25 marks the International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women and the start of 16 days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence Campaign.
My heart breaks when I read or hear about the violence against women and girls.
Not a single day goes by when there is no news of violence against any woman or girl whether it is physical & sexual abuse, child marriage, domestic violence, online harassment and many other. This must stop!
It's the time to #EndViolenceAgainstWomenandGirl now!
I have made this #mithila art in support of all the women survivors of violence 🧡 And to raise awareness about the gender based violence♀️

Migrant Labourers/
Saddened to read and watch the news & stories of the migrant labourers including women, even pregnant women walking for days to reach their native places carrying their little children, luggages with little food or no food, no rent due to pandemic crisis. And in this process, some of them had lost their lives too. This is inhuman! 😢
They may be labourers but they are humans. They just want to go back to their homes. And this is their human rights.
We all (the society, the government, the authorities) need to be more humane and sensitive towards them. Praying for them, that they reach their homes safely very soon. 🙏
A heartfelt thank you to all our sanitation workers for working relentlessly even during this COVID-19 pandemic to keep us safe often at the cost of their health. You are our real Heroes 👏❤️🙏
