‘he would act right for his dream girl’ is false. this implies that every man has a secret hidden potential to magically become this amazing partner that has to be unlocked by ‘the right woman’. this is subtly shifts the blame onto women for not being ‘the one’. this is all based in fantasy and hypotheticals. people are what they do, not what they could or might do in theory. a man that has consistently mistreated women he is in relationships with does that because he is a bad partner and a shitty person. simple as
