I feared something like this would have happened, and I cannot deny it maddens me and makes me terribly ashamed for not noticing such things sooner, but due to admin a stepping suddenly down from her position because of personal reasons, I find myself trying to hop between real life, the lack of a full-functioning laptop and my own blogs, and I won’t deny that also dealing alone with a directory is a weight I cannot face on my own.
I love TRIUMVICORP, I spat blood and sweat over every nook and cranny of it, and before reaching the point of no return where closing everything might actually be the only solution I might have to consider, I want to try one more time to do things right.
So, I am officially asking for 2 people to come at me, who would like to become admins as well and help me with the overall management of the directory, the organization of plots and all the stuffs I, as a one, cannot just do. If you’re interested please, IM the main blog and I will give you my aim credentials in which we can discuss about your entrance as admin and about all the things TRIUMVICORP needs.
Is this RP still active? It looks really interesting!
The roleplay, as we can see from the main blog’s dashboard, is fairly active and taking their time with replies and memes, and this makes us really proud of them. If you are interested, you can ask us whatever you need --for now, admin a will cover for admin b since she’s currently unable to reach the computer. I hope I can be as exhaustive as her.
Thank you for asking --the admins are feeling well, but unfortunately they’ve had that one terrible accident called ‘real life issues’ which has kept them away from the computer ( and admin b literally without it ) for all the week, and for this we apologize to the members of TRIUMVICORP for not being warned beforehand of this accident.
We might also think about adding up a third admin in order to help us with the work of maintenance of the whole settlement, so please, stay tuned and have faith in us. We’re not going to give up this directory. We’re not going to give up on you.
Hello! This is a brief admin announcement we think we might be doing for it will affect the schedule of the main blog --due to both admins attending the EXO concert this weekend, ALL THE RESERVATIONS AND APPLICATIONS TO BE POSTED WILL BE POSTICIPATED TO MONDAY, 22/02, alongside the first installment of our WEEKLY IDOL activity.
We are sorry for any inconveniences we might have caused this week, we promise that, from Monday on, the activity in the main blog will resume by following the expected more regular pace!
For actors/actresses what do we have to write in the 'audition' part of the application? Do we follow the same guidelines as the idol/trainee section?
Yes! The procedure is exactly the same --they’ll have to audition, and instead of singing or dancing, they’re either given a prompt for improvisation or a chosen skit of a drama/movie to act out as well ( unless they’re auditioning with something already prepared )
Remember! There’s a tag dedicated to open starters, and it’s advised to post a starter in there from time to time, and reply to the ones in the tag as well in order to interact with everybody and make people who might not be able to plot and prefer random type of interaction feel accepted and part of the roleplay!
A new week and an Admin B weeping over her approaching exams! How about being so nice to come here and reserve or ask me questions while she prepares some stuff for the directory? I’d love to reply to all your doubts~!
[ SON NAEUN ]? Who? You must be blind because that’s [ BAEK JISUN ], [ ACTRESS ] under [ SKYLIGHT MEDIA ]! How can you not notice her, she’s basically on the covers of all Seoul’s magazines! Isn’t she so cool?

Fourteen year-old Jisun was sitting in the waiting room, hand pressed tightly against her mother’s to calm the nerves running through her body. She took deep breathes in and out. She looked to the seat next to her; it was empty. For Noah’s audition, both Ria and Jisun were sitting on each side of him, cheering him on. For Ria’s audition, Jisun was sitting on her side, cheering her on. And now, for Jisun’s audition, there was neither of them. Only her mother who reluctantly came because no one else would be there with her.
“Ella, you’re up,” her mom said to her. She was so caught up in calming herself down that she didn’t even hear her number get called. She got up, hands still placed in her mother’s, and frowned at her mother. She felt like she was going to cry due to this nervousness. At fourteen years old, she knew she was being a big baby, but she wasn’t used to doing things alone. Thoughts of why her siblings wouldn’t be here with her right now kept running through her head.
With the help of her mother straitening out her skirt and then slightly pushing her forward, she got the courage to walk toward the room. You got this, Ella. She got kept repeating it to herself over and over again. Do it for your siblings, at least. You can’t disappoint them. She knew how important this was for her to finally get to be with her siblings again. Right before entering the room, she halted, took one last deep breath, and put on a smile.
When in the room, she waited silently in line and stared at those around her. There were some younger, some older, some who looked confident, some who looked as scared as she was feeling. She wasn’t in this alone, but she hoped out of all of them she was the better one. Jisun didn’t call herself a dance prodigy, but ever since she could walk, she’s been practicing ballet. She also picked up on some more genres after moving to Korea. Ironically, she didn’t want to make a career out of it, but had fun doing it. Her experience has got to help her make it through.
It was time for Jisun to introduce herself.
“Hello. My name is Baek Jisun. I’m fourteen years old, almost turning fifteen.” The judges looked at her, some with welcoming looks and others with stern ones. Did they know she was Noah and Ria’s last third? Were they going to judge her harsher because of them? Did they already have expectations for her?
“I’ll be dancing to Jordin Sparks’s One Step at A Time.” She didn’t know why, but she remembered listening to this song for the first time after Ria became busy with her training. Somehow it calmed her down and was telling her that she had to take baby steps to get to where her siblings were. She didn’t have the passion like they did, but she was going to be with them again. It became a song that she grew attached to and she felt it was only her best bet to audition with something she could relate to.
She stepped up toward the empty area in the center of the room, took a deep breath, and got ready for the music to play. Once the first few beats blasted out of the speakers, she felt her body melt into one with the music. She’s done this routine too many times, there was no way she could mess up. With the help of the private dance instructor that her parents hired, they created this routine to compliment her strengths. She was graceful, but after picking up on beginner hip-hop, she learned to become more sharp and listen to the beat more. And the two choreographed the song’s routine to show that.
Once she was done, she mentally gave herself a compliment. She didn’t melt down in the middle or make any obvious mistakes.
Jisun then lifted her head to look at the judge’s expressions. Everyone was unreadable. She instinctively crossed her fingers by her side. Please let her be good enough to finally get to see her siblings.
[ SONG MINHO/MINO ]? Who? You must be blind because that’s [ KO JUNYEOL ] aka [ LOUIS ], [ CATCH22′S MAIN VOCALIST & MAIN DANCER ] under [ 2H ENTERTAINMENT ]! How can you not notice him, he’s basically on the covers of all Seoul’s magazines! Isn’t he so cool?

Deep breaths. In. Out. Three seconds each. Junyeol watches silently as one after another the boys sitting against the wall are called up. Their chance to stand in the middle of the room and show their potential to a panel of so called professionals weighing on all of their shoulders. The breathing exercises of the others waiting in line for their turn isn’t something Junyeol completely comprehends. The 2H judges didn’t seem to be full of assholes. In fact, he more or less agreed with all the criticism they’d given so far. Yet, everyone was clearly nervous about their shot to get into the company’s first boy group. Loud sighing and the tapping of fingers filling the silence between songs. Maybe Junyeol just wasn’t the nervous type. Or maybe he just knew that whether or not he made it, his audition wouldn’t leave behind any regrets.
The boy ahead of him, Sung-something, finishes up and the next thing he knows “Ko Junyeol” is being called. The grip around his guitar reflexively tightens as he stands, but the boy keeps his walk confident. Nerves could be helpful if you were able to let them go to perform, but not having any in the first place was infinitely better. Luckily for Junyeol, the only times he’d felt nervous in his sixteen years of life was when he’d first been chased down by a pack of violence enthusiast kids, and when he met his father for the first time. To this day, nothing has come close to that rush of worry and anticipation. So an audition for a company thats success rate was anything but decided didn’t phase him. He knew that failing wouldn’t be the end of the world. Life goes on. And with that in mind, he steps into the center of the room, facing the five staff members that made up the panel.
The usual questions are asked: name, age, current occuptaion. It’s mainly a routine check to make sure that you were who you said you were. Junyeol answers efficently, and the woman who asked nods before meeting his eyes. “You may begin when you’re ready.” Unlike the other boys who’d all sung with a back track so far, Junyeol places his fingers into the first chord of his chosen song. The fifty year old guitar currently in his hands a gift from his grandpa in France before he’d left for Seoul. It was his first guitar, and it had definitely needed a lot of new parts in order to actually be playable, but the memories in it were were something Junyeol had to bring to the audition. He wanted to show himself, his real self, and let the company know who he was. Whether they liked it or not was up to fate. A moment of dead silence passes before his fingers pluck the strongs fluidly, his practice as a guitarist evident in the ease he played with. After a few beats, the boy inhales a large breath, before opening his mouth to sing on his slightly off Korean. He knew that CATCH22 (the temporary name unless a better one was thought up) wasn’t going to be a bubblegum pop sound. So he picked an American song he thought could show off his vocals and English, while staying within the genre of the group. Buy U A Drank by T-Pain was quite a famous song, and for the image the company had promoted, Junyeol knew it was the right choice. Especially since he’d be doing a stripped down version of it, something no one had ever seen before. As he finishes the first line, he can already see the judges discussing amongst themselves. Junyeol doesn’t let it affct his performance, though, he knows that the chance of them saying praise is also possible. Not to mention his French accented Korean is a sound completely his own. Hopefully they’ll think its just as charming as his dad does, otherwise he’s probably screwed. Definitely screwed.
[ KIM TAEHYUNG/V ]? Who? You must be blind because that’s [ XU TAEHYUNG ] aka [ EVI ], [ FOREST’S LEAD VOCALIST & LEAD DANCER ] under [ DIAMOND ENTERTAINMENT ]! How can you not notice him, he’s basically on the covers of all Seoul’s magazines! Isn’t he so cool?

Taehyung was really beginning to worry.
That was Taehyung for you - if given too long a time period, he’d start to overthink and fret. Not to mention that he was starting to lose his confidence, looking around at the room of seemingly talented people who all looked like they were idol material. He glanced down once again at his fingers and heaved in deeply, thinking about how he would prove everyone that thought he’d fail time and time again (it was already his third audition at a company) that he could do it.
After what seemed like hours of waiting, he finally got called in, a loud voice which called his name jolting him out of his thoughts. He stood up immediately, ignoring the envied looks of how composed he might’ve seemed, but really, inside he was a nervous wreck. However, he still forced himself to walk as per normal, legs shaking slightly. He bit down hard on his bottom lip when he bowed at the judges, introducing himself with a confident smile painted onto his face. “Hello, I’m Xu Taehyung, and I’m seventeen this year. Today I’ll be performing a contemporary dance routine to Fall by Justin Bieber.” When he saw a judge look up at him with furrowed brows at the mention of his surname, he rushed to explain. “My father is Taiwanese.”
With a quick nod of the head, he stood in place with his heart thumping wildly in his chest, taking small, deep breaths to calm himself down. It was what he’d been preparing for for such a long time, wasn’t it? It was something that he wanted. He couldn’t help but feel the judges’ eyes boring into him as he stood there, waiting for the music to start after the longest three seconds. When the music started to filter in through the speakers, his muscle memory started off his memorised routine, and he began to go into that space every time he danced where he was blissfully unaware of anyone or anything but himself and his dance steps. Taehyung knew he was good at dancing, and he strived to make it show as he gave it his all for this dance. He fell into place with the music and steady thrums of the beat, moves sharp and precise. One of the things he had to keep in mind and was a natural at was that he had to express his feelings through his dance, and he often got lost in the lyrics and melody of the song as he conveyed a message with his lithe movements and body.
When the music ended, Taehyung barely registered it as he fell into his ending position as the chords slipped away. He stood with his breath evening out with his eyes trained on his judges for any indication of emotion at all, but when he found none, he couldn’t help but stand up a little dejectedly before bowing quickly and leaving.
Is it ok to plot out threads taking place at things like TV broadcasts or radio shows? I know the rules say not to write out any major things like comebacks and concerts without asking the admin team, but I'm thinking more along the lines of smaller interview programs and such.
In this case yes --broadcasts are way more common than awards, comebacks and concerts, so you can use them as a plot device.
I think the first thing that's most important is to post ads and promos? But you guys haven't updated the ads blog in such a long time it's worrying ; x ; I think you guys as admins are really hard working but this place needs more new members. I'd hate to see this rp go inactive ...
The first and most important thing is to keep the main blog active, in our opinion –experiences as previous members of ton of groups around krp and the indie scene has taught us that roleplay directories and groups die if they’re not checked and taken care of by the admin team almost every day, no matter how many ads and promos we queue out. We can flood the tags as much as you want –but if the main blog’s last update is dated at least one week ago, what’s the point of promoing?
We understand you are worried this roleplay might go inactive –but we’re doing our job, and I think we’re doing it properly. We just started and we even started later than scheduled, with lots of changes and lots of ghost reserves, in a period that is not a good one because of school and jobs being also in the midst of all of this, and this is also something that should be considered as well.
The promos are out there and it’s up to people looking in the tags to recognize if what offers TRIUMVICORP to them corresponds to what they’re looking for in a directory or not, and up to our members to spread the word with their friends ( which is what works way better than queueing promos, imho ).
some love to the triumvicorp admins who really seem to work hard ;; wish the best to you guys!
Thank you, really. From the ‘bad cop’ admin A, right now --because admin B is sleeping like all Europeans do-- who truly appreciates when our efforts and sacrifices are noticed and appreciated. We will keep working in order to have TRIUMVICORP slowly gain more and more members and become more and more active.
Why not you stagger acceptances throughout the week instead of specific days?
It’s been explained a few times --admins have both a job and university to tend to, and they decided to optimize the little time we have in order to keep the blog always active somehow, and also give us all the time to read and review the applications, update the blogs and deal with the graphic part of acceptances. While we can do the reserve posting during the day since it’s a matter of reading the askbox and do some copypaste ( something admin b often quickly does from the university computers and i can do it on mobile, for example ), the graphic part and the ‘big part’ of the main blog activity is focused on weekends because weekends are the days in which we can calmly work on this.
I know it might sound like we’re wasting time from your point of view, but trust us when we say we are not --we ask the members and the interested people to just keep in mind that we are humans with a life as well, and that everything in our directory has been done in order to function around us.
