Latest chaps are reminding me why I love Shishiba and Osaragi so much.

By all rights they should be killing each other the same way Yotsumura and Shishiba were. In fact, they've got even more reason, bc Shishiba (unlike Yotsu) is an actual traitor, and Osaragi (unlike Shishiba) is a pure-blooded killer who doesn't know anything else.

But they aren't. And that's not because their circumstances are any better (they're not), or because Osaragi is any purer of heart than Shishiba was (she's not), or anything, it's that they allow themselves to genuinely care about each other. That's it. That's literally all it took.
