Serena is by far the worst GG character, perhaps the worst character ever created for television. After I had that epiphany (somewhere around Trip Vanderbilt, I think...) I wondered if anyone else felt as strongly as I did about how terrible Serena is. So I Google'd "Serena Van Der Woodsen sucks". You blog was the first hit. Just thought you should know you are doing very important work and I am so relieved that this blog exists... and it's hilarious to boot. Kudos.

When we started the blog, we thought the same thing. Is there a blog dedicated to the lameness of Serena van der Woodsen? Turns out there wasn’t, but there were a few laments over her character in the tags. After a few more episodes and complaining about S, we decided to fill that blog void, and voila!

Like she starts out the show already being a massive slut because she cheats with her own BEST FRIEND’S boyfriend. What kind of “friend” does that? Then after her relationship with Dan, she just starts dating and fucking every man she lays eyes on. Mostly goes after older men who shouldn’t be with her. She had an emotional affair with a high school teacher back when she was in boarding school. I’ve lost count of how many guys she’s been with.
