Prayer request!

I was walking through the grocery store last night when I was out of nowhere struck with debilitating lower back pain. I made it home ok, but I’ve been in extreme pain since then (not helped by my herbal remedies or by over the counter aspirin) with very limited movement. Hoping to get into the doctor today, but guessing that unless this starts to go away on its own this may be a long road.

Update: Saw doctor, got a prescription for high dose ibuprofen and a muscle relaxant, husband is picking those up from the pharmacy now along with dinner since there’s no way I’m cooking in this state.

Any relief from hot and cold packs and other techniques, stretches, massager, etc have all been temporary relief that goes away as soon as I try to move again.

Really hoping the meds do the trick so I can go to work tomorrow.

PT is the place to be. Find yourself a holistic bodywork practitioner that has good reputaion for teaching how to change movement \ lifestyle to fix the issue. Then listen to what tbey suggest and practice it for 1 month straight. If it works then set it i to your daily life. Drugs and muscle relaxers are a temp fix.
