So here’s the next chapter, Trollboy: Lost Souls.

And this is what weeks of thumbnails and rough layouts look like.

including a bunch of pages of scribbles as i figure this all out.

Originally i’d planned to keep project file stuff off this account and keep it for finished pages but what the hell.

So here’s some doodles of me trying to figure things out for my next book, general style and character designs.

Coming at some point in the future is The Girl and the Spirit! or The Spirit Girl! whichever one I go with in the end.

This story is also set in the Trollboy universe (trollverse?) and is going to be a 40-50 page story arc.

Rather than do a page from start to finish a week this time i’m doing all the pencils, inks, colours etc at once to speed up the process overall.
