Grreblbbh I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for this new Fish in a Birdcage album release. It's not even healthy how many times I've listened to the short loops we've been given so far. I LOVE THEM ALL 😵‍💫! And THE ART!!! ... And the art has already got me investigating. If I've got it right, the Roman numeral in the artwork is 16... And that, combined with the tower in the artwork, is making me think that the new album (Perspective) might have something to do with the Tarot card "Tower"? 🤔

I've finally started reading A Game of Thrones and holy shit, this book will probably take me three years to read 😂 Not because it's boring me but because it's so brilliant. I can't stop forming theories as I read and then thinking them over. So yep, farewell to any other activities or brain function, I just keep reading a sentence or two and then returning to previous pages/passages so much that it's taken me ages to even get to page 22. (Edit. And now it's the next day and I've only hit page 148. I don't think I've read a book this slowly in decades! The fact that I kind of already know what'll happen next makes it easier to take breaks though.)

Like that chapter where they find the direwolves? So much subtext underneath what appears to be happening, I love it 😭💕 There's a whole another dialogue going on between Jon and Robb, isn't there? Among other stuff!

This song ♥️ I love that it's such an earworm because this song looping in my brain has already helped me so much when I've been trying to break the persistent patterns of my smartphone addiction. Now listening to it once more, and then ungluing my fingers from the phone again.

🎼Who Will You Follow 🎶... Guhh. Evanescence for sure, this new album that's coming up sounds absolutely PHENOMENAL 😵‍💫💕 And I love the music video! It's visually so striking and adds an interesting dimension to the lyrics which btw fascinate me.

Edit. Okay one more thing I'll add before I Really unglue myself from my phone. I freaking love the lines "When all your faith in reality fades away... Who will you follow then?" because yeah. Going nuts and regaining the nuts you lost can really feel absurdly similar. The ground you were standing on cracks, you reassess whom you trust. (And even then... Are you done? Who knows.) Yes, ungluing now.

(Btw this timing of the release of a music video feat. an elevator ride 😅...? About a week after the season 9 finale aired? And the fact that it was filmed in LA? Yeah it's seriously making me go "Okay 👀... That's a badass way to out yourself as 9-1-1 fans 🤡?" Also the themes of this song are there, in Eddie's elevator scene, so it would make sense to make a reference to the elevator scene? Would fit that whole Matrix/Inception- "A Dream Is Breaking, and whose dream was it, anyway?"-thing I'm getting from the song and the music video. And yeah, there also seems to be a freaky hotel in the video and combined with the elevator it could be a reference to "Leave the hotel?!"-from Shining, one movie the show for sure referenced in the episode...)

Look I know we all miss Bobby and all, but Athena not seeing him in her coma dream isn't something I'm too mad about. In fact I think it makes sense. I like the fact she saw her old work partner, who guided her through the job, and looked out for her on the field.

She was in that coma because of her job. She was in that coma because she got shot on the job by someone wearing a badge.

I love Bobby, but Athena is MORE than Bobby's wife. I'm so glad the writers didn't reduce her to just a man's wife. There was reason it was the way it was

If you think your job is hard, just imagine being Eddie's defense attorney. Eddie was literally caught red-handed at the crime scene, his DNA and hand prints everywhere, he has no alibi - in fact the hospital probably has cameras so Eddie was filmed entering that elevator...

It could work - it totally worked to distract and confuse the show audience and that was just an one-man-show!!
