I think everytime they cut to someone famous or important during an NFL game it should do the yakuza title card. Like when they show Travis Kelce it could go to black and white and make the noise and flash "TRAVIS KELCE 2ND PATRIARCH OF THE KELCE FAMILY A SWIFT FAMILY SUBSIDIARY"

Editing is so funny, you'll spend 10 Mins trying to nail the exact frame to make a transition smooth and think how everyone will think what a smooth edit it is. But they'll all just latch onto the intentionally bad photo shop joke you edited in and love that instead.

I sometimes see a game criticized for "being the same thing over and over" nearly every game is doing the same thing over and over. You just have to find the repetition salad you like that covers it in the perfect theme dressing.

Editing work has been slowing, everyone is being hit hard by the economy and I can't blame them for that . Recently had to sell my camera and it's had a much stronger and deeper effect than I realized it would on me. Feels like I sold a lifelong dream. I'm just frustrated that things have gotten to the point where it had to be done. I adore editing and film and photography and creating but sometimes I wonder if there's really a place for me in it.

Reviewing things like movies or games is hard because it's nearly impossible to be objective. Every experience is influenced by the experiences surrounding it. It's why my rating for a movie or a game can change a few months after my initial experience. Maybe the day I saw/played it I was having a wonderful day or was with wonderful people, well that's going to make it higher rated. The opposite can also be true, what if I wasn't in the mood for a period piece or an rpg well then it'll be lower than it should. How long after an experience should you wait to review/discuss something? Is there value in a first impression if it'll change in 3 months? I don't have an answer but i think it's interesting to think about.

5. Mario movie

I enjoyed them all, it's been a nice year for seeing films. I really need to see Barbie and Spiderverse still. Too bad the studios don't want to pay most of those who make them.

John Wick 4: i actually liked this one more than 2 or 3. Donnie Yens character provides a wonderful mirror foil to John. The marquis is a delightful pos villian. The films story was much deeper and moving than expected. I enjoyed the rumination on the price of death and the cost of living Also the most beautifully shot action film I've ever seen. 9/10

DnD honor among thieves: All I wanted from this film was a fun adventure that felt Iike I was playing a session with friends and it delivered! . The comedy was on point, fun action, and heartwarming moments. The cast was wonderful and I want a sequel already. I loved all the references to existing lore. I wish it was a little longer to flesh out a few story points 8/10

Mario movie: Bright, fun, colorful, and full of nostalgia and references. I loved the characterizations of all the beloved childhood characters. It felt like a movie of the old cartoon in the best way . I do wish the movie was 20 mins longer. The film felt determined to reach it's end as fast as possible and i wanted to experience the world more and learn more about the characters. Also overuse of pop/rock music when they had beautiful versions of the game music already 7/10
