Fang’s mouth split open to give the reaper a jagged grin.

“Wouldn’t you rather feel bad for yourself?” he asked with faux joviality, leaning in. “I mean, you are dating my mother, which makes you my stepfather by proxy.”

"I feel bad for him because you look like him, which means he probably gets blamed for the shit you pull. Though I can't say I like that either."

“Opinions sure are great, huh?” he growls, looking him over. “Who the hell are you?”

The tiniest of sneers crossed the demon’s face.

“I hate to disagree, but in this case, it’s fact,” he said, putting his hands in his pockets. “What, you don’t see the family resemblance? From what I hear tell, I’m the spitting image of my father before the Dark Ones touched him. Apart from the eyes, obviously, but as if he could ever tell the difference between purple and green.”
