@troublesmade called: “ it’s very quiet down here.” (from Artemis)
aileen nodded at the goddess’ words, they’d followed a monster into an abandoned section of buildings. they’d lost it, unbelievably. so now aileen was listening, for any movement or any noises that would betray its location. although she knew things were serious, the thrill of being next to the goddess and hunting with her never got old. even after years of being a hunter, so she felt excited, ready to jump into whatever was thrown her way. and yet, something felt off. bow and arrow drawn, she’d taken a few more steps before whispering to the goddess, “something feels wrong. what if it’s a trap?”

This was just another day’s work for the spirit of the wilderness, hunting, animals, and other beasts that all fell under her control. Just because they had lost track for a second didn’t mean it was cause for worry in her eyes, only a hiccup that could easily be fixed. Artemis offered Aileen a reassuring smile to worry verbalized by her current company. “If someone is that brazen and foolish, so be it. I haven’t a worry in regards to this; any attempt to spring a trap will fall short for them. Do not worry; if there were a problem, I would tell you and confide my own worries, Aileen.”
Moving forward, she exuded confidence, swiftly approaching with footfalls completely silent even to the trained ear and supernatural hearing. A tiny, quick motion of the hand beckoning one of her hunters closer without looking back over her shoulder, staying still until Aileen did.
