I Need Help

As some of you may know, I attempted suicide again on March 3rd. I was in the ER and went to a psych hospital for 9 days. Although I am feeling rejuvenated and mentally well, I am once again in financial straits.

On March 1st I had a root canal which cost a hefty sum of money (explained in this text post) and I still have yet to pay that off. Now, in addition to that, I have to pay a whopping 500 dollar bill for my hospital stay as well as my psychiatric stay. 

Anyone who has followed me for more than a few weeks knows that I am completely unable to pay this, what with being disabled and not having a job to support myself. I have had an impossibly challenging year and although I have made it this far, I still have major obstacles to overcome, money being one of them. 

So please, if you have anything to give, or if you know someone that can, spread this. I’m so painfully ashamed to be asking for money again, I really am. More than anyone, children bear the brunt of regular Israeli military assaults on the Gaza Strip. During the 51-day war in the summer of 2014, 551 children were killed and 3,436 were injured. But these gruesome figures say little about the psychological state of the nearly 800,000 children who have survived the periodic bombing campaigns. After the final cease-fire that ended Israel’s Operation Protective Edge on August 26 of last year, UNICEF estimated that at least 425,000 Palestinian children in the besieged Gaza Strip require “immediate psychosocial and child protection support.”
