“Oh, I know that,” Derek huffs out. He knew that rather well. Though he was in the middle of all the siblings — literally — he had two younger ones to be the older brother to. And out of them all, Robinson seemed to be the one he looked after the most. The Alpha’s gaze drifts from Troy’s face, not wanting to be shown pity or the like. “I .. I know, Troy.” He replies; his tongue darting out to lick at the corner of his mouth in a nervous manner. “Thank you.” Derek meets the other’s gaze then, giving an affirming nod.
He tipped his head to one side, watching the other. Of course Derek understood, but it didn't mean he would worry any less. His brows pulled together slightly watching the other. He didn't mean for it to seem like he was pitying the other. So he didn't press. He nodded slowly " 'Course." He said lowly, "I'm sorry, by the way, You know..i wish i had some answers...or i don't know could have come sooner to help or something." He said giving a one shouldered shrug.
Is it bad I stole Derek's car keys?
"Yeeah it's kind of bad. Why did you steal Derek's car keys?"

Derek is now sitting on the edge of one of the various crates in the room. His head reclined so that he can look up to the other. Both brows are raised in a challenging manner for his to say otherwise. Troy was older than him and as far as he could remember, most of the siblings and even cousins. The man follows his brother’s movements and he blinks slowly at the other trying to coax him in to talking. “I’m doing fine,” he replies; a rather bland answer and not totally the truth.
He watches the other, brows raising slightly. It's not like he was going to force Derek to talk about anything, but considering all that had happened it would be understandable if he wasn't completely fine. He could hear the slight lie in as he spoke. But he didn't want to press. "Derek, i'm just checking up on you. It's an older brother obligation." He explained a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Just...if you need to talk. About anything. I'm here." He glanced down for a brief moment before looking back up to Derek "I'm here now." he assured the other softly.

“Hi, I’m Sadie Stilinski. Can I help you?”
He studied the other for a moment, brows knitting together. "I remember you." He murmured softly "You used to come by the house." he said cocking his head to one side. "But you-" He scoffed at himself suddenly. shaking his head. "But you died. But so did i." He said a small smile on his face. "So i suppose welcomes are in order. 'Welcome back to the world of the living' or maybe just a 'i died and all i got was this stupid t-shirt' " he joked with a grin.

Not seconds later and the younger Hale is all but bounding down the stairs again. There is no warning as the jeans — that had been found, luckily clean — and shirt at his brother’s face. And none too softly. “There, ya Geezer.” He teases again as he moves past Troy and in to what used to be considered the living room.
He should have seen the clothes coming, but only did so a second too late as the clothes smacked into his face. He let out an annoyed huff, mostly teasing "Geezer?" He repeated, mock hurt in his tone, as he pulled the others jeans on. Before tugging the shirt over his head. "I can't believe you called me a geezer" he said with a huff before following after the younger one. He flopped onto the couch, slightly draping himself over it, cocking his head to one side watching Derek. "So talk to me, How are you doing?" He asked hazel gaze softening a bit.

The pause that his brother gives forces Derek to stop about halfway up the stares. His hands are idle at his side and his head is turned, staring at his brother with a rather expectant look; brows raised and lips parted to some degree. But with the words that are spoken, Derek bursts out in to a gut-laugh. His head throws back and he is shaking his head. “Oh the woes of getting old, Troy,” he teases; motioning for his brother to stand idle in the entryway whilst the younger Hale makes it up the stairs to his old bedroom to gather what clothes he had that were partially clean to give to his brother.
He couldn't help the grin that came to his lips every time he made Derek laugh. Not that it was unusual before. But Derek didn't exactly seem like he laughed that much. So the crooked grin that slid over his features couldn't be helped. "I am never going to get used to this." He said with a dramatic sigh. Chuckling slightly he remained still in the entryway watching Derek make his way up the stairs. He crossed his arms loosely over his chest, before idly brushing at some of the dirt on his arms. Not that it really did much, but it was something to preoccupy himself with.

It was like living in Hell. He could feel the loss of every single person he knew. Scott. His pack. Allison. Stiles. Peter. Euan, Kelly, Troy — Anyone and everyone that he’d ever known. They were all gone and Derek was truly alone. He let out a low noise, staggering back against the wall of the Hale House before he slid down it — Hands fisting into his hair as he clamped his eyes shut. A howl broke free, his Wolf in utter agony before the sound turned into a raw sob as he crumpled, forehead pressing to the ground.
He had been out, the moment everything apparently went to hell. His gaze snapped up at the mournful sound of the howl. The Sound caused a painful twinge deep in his chest. And before he could even stop to think he was moving, running as fast as he could through the forest and towards The Hale House. He threw the door open, Pausing only a brief moment to sniff the air. Before he was rushing to his brothers side. "Derek." He breathed out voice wrought with concern. "Derek Look at me. What's wrong. Are you hurt?"

A low hum is offered back to his brother using his own words. Right. Stuck with each other. He would rather be stuck with his Family then being stuck with ungreatful teenagers. And having his elder brother was something he could live with. Derek is turning about again at the comment of leading the way; their progression towards the Hale House having been rather successful. They were just at the tree line before the clearing within minutes. “What?” He croons. “Don’t like being wild and free, Troy?” Again, teasing; his lips curling in to a wolfish grin as he strides up the steps and pushing through the marked door. “I should have some upstairs..”
He scoffs rolling his eyes. "No Not particularly." He said but he couldn't help the laugh in his tone, simply enjoying the teasing if it made Derek smile whatsoever. He gave a nod following after Derek, pausing a moment a horrified look flashing briefly over his features. "Oh my god i can fit in your pants. We're the same height. This is too bizarre." He said placing a hand to his head. Not that anything about this situation made any sense whatsoever. People didn't just go popping up out of the ground after how many years of being dead.
"It's like you and Derek are trying to ruin my social life." She grumbled loudly. "So if I went on a date without consent would I be in trouble at all?"
"I thought you didn't want anything to do with anyone at school and they all sucked." He teased, stretching out on the bed. "Yeeah probably. I don't know maybe not. It Depends who i guess. Why have someone in mind?" He asked lofting a brow high on his forehead
"He wouldn't listen to me." He closed his eyes again, fingers curling against Troy's shirt. "I don't know what to do, T... He's-- He's everything to me."
He closed his eyes, holding him close to him. Before he moved Derek positioning his head into his lap, stroking his hand through his hair and rubbing his other hand along his back. "No one could put a curse that powerful on him. It can't be permanent. We'll talk to Dr. Deaton tomorrow..see if there's something he can do.." He murmured softly, sweeping a hand through his hair. "I know, Derek...Don't worry..we'll figure this out."
Ansila moved the pillow, only to roll her eyes. "Because you care? Does interrogating possible dates count as caring too?" She teased with a light smile, although she already knew the truth.
"Oh yeah, totally. Sorry. You're kind of screwed there. And before you say anything i did the same thing for even Laura, who was older then me. And even Derek. Everyone." he said with careful emphasis. "It's an older brother thing."
"He's under some spell and-- I can't break it. At all." Derek curled into Troy's frame when he was tugged closer. "He.... He thinks I cheated on him," He said quietly, his voice small.
"Spell?" He echoed back, softly. "Well i'm....There has to be a way to beak it Derek." His eyes widened slightly "Oh. Oh Derek that must have been...he..reacted about as well as expected i guess?"
"I--" Derek paused to suck in a breath, snapping his eyes shut. His voice was thick and it was clear he'd been crying. "Stiles hates me," He finally managed, pressing his face more into Troy's frame.
His frown deepened and he moved in close to Derek winding his arms around him. "Come here." He said quietly, drawing him in close. "Come on, shh. I'm sure Stiles doesn't hate you. Tell me what happened."
