Do you think the in-universe Love Händel fandom views the "Flynn-Fletcher Concert" as the greatest band revival in music history? Like seriously the three bandmates are implied to have been out of the business for like a decade after a nasty public breakup, only to spontaneously come back for a wedding anniversary of one of their fans. Every time they've reappeared on the show they seem to be popular and thriving. All because of that one concert. Legendary.
The Love Händel Wikipedia article must be a trip to read for the information on the Flynn-Fletcher Concert alone. What do you mean none of the bandmates knew they band was getting back together until the day of the concert? They didn't even rent a venue, it was just in someone's front yard where a girl scout troop set up a stage??? They probably caused a traffic jam. And hey, wait a sec, why are the names of the couple whose anniversary was being celebrated blue, indicating they have their own Wikipedia pages- they're LINDANA and MAX MODEM??? And their kids are Phineas and the Ferbtones??? Aren't they pop artists??? The "ninjas of love" that appeared during the concert are the Ferbettes??? Who are also the girl scouts who made the stage?????? The identity of the Love-a-Gram lady who appeared onstage midway through the opening number remains one of the music industry's greatest mysteries, since everyone assumes she must be famous too.

Shout out to people with breathing related disabilities because this shit sucks
People who need inhalers and nebulizers. People who use ox tanks. People who can’t stand or walk too much because it makes breathing harder. People who have given up important parts of their life because of their breathing issues. People who need assistance and caregivers. Especially huge shoutout to people whose breathing problems don’t have any treatments and/or are getting worse with time
In my experience, we are often left out of the disabled community, either implicitly or explicitly. Needing assistance with chores and errands is so common for disabled people yet when it’s a lung or airway issue that causes us to need that assistance, we’re left out of the convo. Conditions like cystic fibrosis, COPD, lung cancer, VCD, asthma, anaphylaxis, and more can all be seriously disabling. We deserve a voice
Anyways, big hugs for people with breathing issues that want one. We deserve more love <3
Having had asthma my whole life it feels weird to see people counting it as a disability. I've always felt like it took away something from me, I've never been particularly active or a sport person in general and the few times I had to play sports it always came with one or two asthma attacks.
After COVID my asthma became significantly worse and I started getting more attacks, my mom thinks it's because my lungs got used to a cleaner air, with the masks, and now they're taking time adjusting to life without it (Dear lungs, it's been 2 years, please adjust faster).
There have been a few moments in my life where I've really felt like my asthma made it impossible for me to do stuff, like sleeping in dusty places. I've been proven wrong everytime by my own self when I've managed every single time. It's still a bit sad that I often get asthma attacks when I laugh too hard, or that I can't visit my childhood house for too long because of how bad my asthma gets there.
Still I've never thought people considered it as a disability because I never did and people around me neither. I don't even have an official diagnosis (don't ask me why, my parents have known I have asthma ever since I was a few months old) and it got me so mad when I discovered that...
Anyway, my point is, it's weird seeing people consider asthma as a disability because it's not as bad as other disabilities. My brain functions, my legs function, my arms functions, my back function, my lungs get tired more easily than others but they function.
Idk it just feels very weird, idk if it's in a good or bad way
Congrats on the internalized ableism and less severe symptoms but I have to lug a nebulizer and emergency oxygen with me to work and end up bed ridden a few weeks out of the year at least.
When I tell people I’m asthmatic, I despise how the response is “oh, I had that when I was a kid. It’s no big deal.” No! It is a big deal! To me, when I get trampoline lung and can’t breathe, it’s a VERY big deal. An untreated attack = death or brain damage.
Just because you can push through it doesn’t mean it’s not a disability.
Just because it’s not visible doesn’t mean it’s not a disability.
Just because you live a good life doesn’t mean it’s not a disability.
If you’re uncomfortable with the label, then that’s perfectly fine to not think of yourself as disabled. But it IS a disability.

we as a society dont really like. put any weight to asthma as a condition. like its been getting better the past few years, but growing up with like asthma as the butt of jokes in tv and movies and nobody ever denouncing those jokes irl, i didnt realize at the time how much that sucked. asthmatics in media at least back then were made out to be like sensitive weak and pathetic, like as if it was some kind of personal failure. they were losers, nerds. not athletic. it was funny for them to be out of breath after a short exercise that the other characters were fine about. people dont realize how scary it is. can you blame me for not being athletic because i dont want to put myself at risk of an asthma attack? it feels like youre literally dying. there isnt oxygen in your lungs. is that not terrifying? does it not absolutely suck to go outside on a humid or dry day and feel like your body is working against you? or to feel like youre being a burden to ask people to stop smoking around you? its not a fucking joke.

I designed some agents because why not. The general idea of OWCA in this au is that they Tried doing the animal secret agent thing, but couldn’t get the animals to the level of sentience they wanted, so they instead ended up recruiting what most people consider to be normal people. Mom’s, Uncles, Grandpas, Teachers, College Kids, all the kinds of people who typically kind of blend in, gave them all your typical endurance, strength, speed modifications + certain additional enhancements based off of what their assigned codename is, which is usually determined by danger level, skills, and general appearance.
On the other hand ive decided the second dimension still has the animal agents… because its funny
