She was arrested in 2006 and police found 7 unconscious kids in her apartment. She was released when her homeless victims disappeared back on the streets.

Growing up in an abusive household is a fucking trip dude……If you’ve never had someone angrily wash a dish at you or fold a sock in your direction then how are you gonna understand why I get nervous when you quietly do the laundry, or why I ask “are you mad at me?” when you set the bag of groceries down too hard? It’s a totally different way of living and it impacts you long after you’ve left the situation.

What I understand this post as is that people who have been or are being abused sometimes see small signs of anger and are terrified by them. We’re used to having other people take their anger out on us, so when we notice a similarity between an abuser’s behavior and another person’s behavior we get freaked out.
