Yi had felt different here in this place, there was a sense of peace that he had not felt for many years. He’d only been here a few days but already it was becoming normal to see old allies and old enemies passing by in the streets and hallways. Today it was time to let go of some of his fear and take another step towards inner harmony. At least that’s what he hoped, he had decided to go out without his armour. He looked at his face in the mirror for the first time in what felt like an eternity.
If he was truely to find peace and enlightenment in this place. It would only happen if he could let go of the war in his past. He stepped outside into the bright winter sun, feeling the cold still air on his skin. After a moment’s hesitation he stepped out and headed into town. It was about time he stocked up on food anyway.
