                             If the stench of smoke hasn’t reached her yet, he’s probably in luck, but somehow he doubts it. he wasn’t sure what to do with the turkey, other than leave it on the counter ( to be fair, it wouldn’t have fit in the garbage can anyway so ).  ❛  so you know how i said we should have a late thanksgiving between the two of us, and that i would take care of the food?  ❜  he stands, with his hands cupped together, eyes lingering about her face, waiting for that proverbial eye roll. the sound of their fire alarm makes itself known before that can happen, though. its almost iconic.
