Finished At Last!!

Well, I managed to cross the finish line in Veilguard. It's been a wild ride and I might take some time to process my thoughts about this lately entry in the franchise.

Still Playing Veilguard, but...

I am still working my way through Veilguard, and while I am still processing my thoughts on it, I will say that it has given me one of my favorite companions in the series: Emmrich. While I was excited for him during the previews, I was not prepared for how much I would actually love his character and questline.

Veilguard Update

Finally hit the sidequest hell of Act 2 in Veilguard. So far, it's been enjoyable.

So my little Veilguard confession so far is that I just phoned in my Inquisitor customization and just rationalized it as being recast like on a soap opera.

Less than 24 hours until launch and I'm still piecing together what I want to play. Indecision can be incredibly cumbersome. At least I have my Inquisitor sorted out.

A Thought on Veilguard

I have mostly been radio-silent, but cautiously optimistic about the news coming out for the newest Dragon Age game. While there is a lot to be both excited and leery about, I am pretty interested in the faction choices and how they harken back to the origin options from DAO. While maybe not as interactive as origins, hopefully these new factions will give a similar amount of roleplaying flexibility.

WOWIE, this is getting so many notes! I am reading through all the tags and am absolutely delighted to see so many people with excellent taste enjoying this silly picture. I made this as a print and it didn't sell all too well at the con I debuted it at. So all this positive feedback warms my heart! Thank you!

source Determining the classes for the girls was a bit of a challenge, so i designed them to be a little ambiguous, my inspirations for them were as follows: Dorothy - Fighter/Paladin Rose - Druid/Sorcerer Blanche - Ranger/Rogue/Bard Sophia - Cleric/Barbarian

To be honest, I was leaning more to Bard for Blanche, but I made this as a print for a con in a bit of a time crunch (you know how it is lolol) and I couldnt find a good way to incorporate an instrument into her design and pose. But let's be honest, regardless of what class she plays, you know she's got a fully maxed out CHA stat. I used this promotional picture for the show as a reference for the pose:

I was very inspired by the work of @sanshofox, who i admire so so much in their ability to adapt the likeness of live action characters to 2d. I linked their post under the image, where they talk about their process. It's so incredibly helpful and inspiring, please check it out!
