just wanted to say that im so so grateful for all the lovely readers of amicus curiae! i really had no idea if people would be interested in more than just the alenoah aspects of the fic, and seeing y'all be invested in courtney and alejandro's close friendship and courtnemma makes me so happy considering neither of those dynamics really exist in canon. thank you all so much for going on this journey with me and being so engaging and kind! i'm very excited to post the next chapter (and many more afterwards)!

In any other fandom it’s really hard to justify supporting toxic characters/ships, but not Total Drama. Almost all the characters are literally off-the-walls clinically insane, probably psychotic and insanely problematic, and every ship has so much wrong with it it’s ridiculous, but it’s okay because it’s all like that, it’s an unspoken understanding we all have to let ourselves justify cheating & attempted murder or else we’d all go down
