“Ooohh ow you wound me~” he said holding a cyan clawed hand over his chest. Feigning dramatically being stabbed. A wide cyan grin split his face. He’d have to try hard than that to get into Vox’s circuits.
The tv overlord looked around. There was potential he supposed. Not something he’d want to handle. He preferred to keep moving forward with project after project. Innovation after innovation. However Alastor did like to always take his time. Never in a hurry.
That’s why he was working this shit box wasn’t it. While Vox had cyan claws slowly closing around the city.
“Ehh you could say you’re trying to sell me on helping promote this place or somethin . You’ll think of somethin.” He said waving a hand dismissively “not that the radio demon should listen to anyone.” He mused with a biting comment. Was he that leashed?
Motivation unshared, Vox could think whatever he wanted in terms of why Alastor was doing what he was doing with the hotel. Not even anyone in the hotel had the foggiest of clues, aside from what he'd initially informed Charlie of when he'd first arrived. All for the sake of entertainment, really. And so he would go on carrying that lie.
"I've my reasons for wanting to keep a relative low profile when it comes to using the hotel for my own needs," Alastor replied. "Beyond the need to avoid chastising by the Morningstars, it better serves me to ensure that it is operational and remains as such." Despite his prickly relationship with Lucifer, it was not in Alastor's immediate interest to infuriate the man so much that he began to circumvent Alastor's Deal maker.
"But you promoting the hotel? That's a bit laughable, isn't it?"
Vox waved his hand dismissively “keep your secrets~ I didn’t expect you to tell me anything anyhow.” He cocked a wry smile filled with sharp cyan teeth. Red eyes narrowed staring at the radio demon.
“I still find it amusing you are running under their hands in such a manner. You used to be such a free and wild beast.” He recalled. A cyan, pointed claw tapped against the edge of his screen in thought. It was curious. He was very interested to know why it shifted.
“Hey~ honestly as a business man would it be that laughable? Wouldn’t it benefit me to want to be in the king of hells favor? You don’t have to believe in something in business, to put your fingers in it” he smirked “I back tons of projects I think are a joke, but connections are connections old friend”
“Oh please. I know, I know.” He said waving his hand dismissively looking agitated by that. “I know better than that.” He sighed. As tempting as it was, he couldn’t very well do it in front of Alastor, now could he?
The tv over lord shifted his screened head in a tilt to the side as they entered. He looked around curiously. This was what was occupying Alastor? It didn’t seem that special.
Red eyes narrowed at Husk behind the bar, not in malice but in confusion. Wasn’t that an exoverlord? That seemed a little amusing to him, his smile breaking out into a wide toothy grin.
“What? I can’t have interest in an old friends latest endeavor?” He smirked. His hands in his pockets “honestly? Curious really.” He shrugged
There’s a game you’re playing. And I want to know.
Well - beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that. Alastor did not think the place to be very special either, but to openly admit that would be to give away more of his own secrets for free and he was not interested in doing so.
"That is a tall order when I have a hard time believing that you and I were ever anything significant," Alastor snipped in turn. He would not go so far as to call them friends (even if that is what they were) in mixed company. He still had his own ego and pride to care for at the end of the day.
With a roll of his eyes, Alastor began to stride away from the parlor and towards the halls - not bothering to take Vox through every single room, but at least giving him a taste of what they were working with.
"If someone sees you here, I am sure I will get an earful," he muttered at some point, more to himself than to anyone else. "But the entire point of this establishment is the chance for redemption, so I am sure I could sell this little personal tour as something akin to giving you the briefest of glimpses at that process." Whether or not they had actually made any progress to that end.

He looked at Alastor “oh please. I didn’t say king of hell. Just of my little corner of territory.”
Vox’s territory was anything but little. The overlord was making quite the claim on just about everything. Eyes and ears everywhere with the mass distribution of his technology.
Easier. Not quite, but he would not belabor the point, particularly as they began to crest over the hill and to the walkway up to the hotel itself.
"I'll ask that you fight the urge to leave any of your surveillance tools in and around the hotel. Some of the patrons may not appreciate the observance."
Alastor was talking about himself. He would not appreciate it.
In through the front door they went - though the hotel itself seemed particularly empty on this day, Husk having chosen to nurse a bottle of something or other as he gave them an eye from the bar, but otherwise did not seem to acknowledge their presence whatsoever.
"So what, exactly are you hoping to discover about our little operation here?" He asked Vox, head tilting towards the other overlord. He wasn't about to drag him through every nook and cranny to go through the finer details of the hotel's secrets. But a general overview was fine.
Or, at least, it should be fine.

Sorry for the absence I’ve been rping a lot on discord for ease. Vox is getting tangled up with Kitty. It’s not going well. Maybe he likes the bullying a bit?

He shook his head trailing after the radio demon. “Besides you can control and manipulate people up there.” He hummed, “so where’s the fun in that? I like being a king in my own kingdom. I don’t think they’d like that much up there.”
He quirked a brow watching sinners hustle to get out of their way. Usually the media was swarming after him, must have been the radio demons less than stellar reputation. He quirked a wide toothy cyan grin. Well this little walk was worth it just for this.
"Oh, I'm certain Heaven has its own particular brand of control and manipulation. Have you ever met an angel?" If Adam was anything but a terrible example, Alastor held no hope for the other side, so to speak, being truly any better than Hell itself. They were just less obvious about it.
Well. All except in Adam's case specifically. Adam was very obvious about it.
But Alastor did not need to delve so deeply into his own distaste for the exorcist leader.

This account will be semi inactive. I apologize. I am on some big role play boards on discord as the main villain and plot mover. Between that and my actual life I’m kind of loaded down.
These role-plays are time consuming in multiple ways from dice rolling, adding modifiers on power usage, to roleplaying with multiple people in multi paragraph lengthy stories to help lay my strings.
Val walked into the main room with a cigarette lit and between his fingers and he blew out smoke, clearly agitating and tired “NO! You imbeciles this is not a frenzied set this is supposed to be an elegant ball room p0rn set!!”
Val rolled his eyes as he tried to conceal his temper

“My what’s got you all in a tizzy now?” Vox asked curiously casting the moth half a glance before going back to texting on his phone, sipping his coffee.
He wrapped an arm around Val’s waist. “Of course. I’m the boss after all~” he liked being praised. He was also thankful velvette soothed Val’s temper. “I take it everything worked out then?”
“Worked like a charm darling~ can’t even believe how fast it went! Normally it takes those fools an hour to even listen!”
Val was practically a puddle from being done with the work day, not having anything left to do
“Of course it would. I knew it would. I’m always right aren’t I, dear?” He said with a big grin. He continued to type on his computer working on a contract.
“I suppose you are dear~”
Val playfully traced around voxs’ ports before kissing his cheek and sauntering off
He glitched at the sensation. A goofy smile across his face. He chuckled “of course I am!” He laughed loudly, leaning back in his chair.
“You know I like when you get cocky darling~ I have a feeling you’re teasing me with it”
Val Said as he left the room, a smirk on his face as he did so, a sway in his hips that he knew drove vox mad
Vox kept his eyes on the moth as he sauntered off. Tease. He clicked his tongue against his teeth and shook his head “maybe I am” he chuckled
“Val, my dear.” Vox said walking into the studio with his usual big cyan grin on his face. “I have a favor to ask.”

He groaned grabbing the edge of the desk, before hoping up on the top. His arms locking around Valentino’s neck firmly, kissing him roughly. Red saliva dripping from his mouth. He broke the kiss panting lightly “okay…I’m listening to the deal you’re making. It’s very convincing“ Vox grinned playfully
Val chuckles, "Good to know, now do you wanna do it on the desk, or in our bedroom?~" he says pressing his hips against Vox's.
“Too many tempting places sweetheart. Perhaps it’ll be exciting on the desk” he said with a husky tone to his voice. His hands running claws down his chest slowly
She enters his office, "Hey, Voxxie." She had just gotten done performing on his show.

“Hello there sweet heart” He smiles brightly at her “how did it go? Well I hope!” He sat back in his chair lacing his fingers together
He chuckled softly. “You can do better than that~” he gripped her chin roughly. His cyan claws digging into the sides of her check. “Like you mean it~” he grinned wickedly.
He pressed forwards crushing his mouth to hers. His hand sliding up the small of her back. “Mm~” he groaned softly.

She squeaks a little before straddling his lap and passionately kissing him. Her hips slowly grinding against his.
“That is my expert opinion. Things are never black and white with you.” He said flashing a cyan smirk his way.
He shrugged hands digging into his pockets as he walked side by side. It felt weird not being at each others throats for once. Alastor seemed to actually want to show him what he was working on; he had been curious. He couldn’t lie.
He shrugged “to be honest…I don’t know. Personally I’m content down here ruling with an iron fist. I prefer the games we play here.” He looked at Alastor red eyes narrowing “though I’m not certain I like the idea of pawns being taken from the playing field” he hummed in thought.
He had only ever been civil! Really, maintaining control in the face of Vox's more volatile mannerisms and attitude was one of the better, more interesting parts of their interactions. He would not lie.
Vox was still just as fun as he had always been.
"You're not even the slightest bit curious about what it's like up there with the Holy choirs?" He asked, turning his own gaze upwards to the sphere-like portal that indicated the presence of Heaven, its stark-white coloration a clear contrast against the deep red that surrounded it.
Alastor, too, did not consider himself to be a candidate, nor an interested party in being redeemed. He had his own plans; his own goals and desires and none of them included being allowed entry through the gates.
No, he was just fine down here.
He just liked to tease Vox with the hypotheticals.
