It's a sunny spring-day and I am working on a nine-patch: square and circle and square and circle. In the centre of it something blossoms...

I made 3 nine-patches (thank you Jude Hill for terminology and technique!) and now I am curious what they want to become…

My most recent work, in one photo together. Jude Hill would call this a ‘nine patch’ and it does make sense: 9 has a balance in itself. But I am not finished at 9, I will be going on and on and on. Maybe I make 99 of these, or 999. We’ll see.
