there’s always a little truth in something. such as words, actions, experiences. he knew people should stay away from him. bad things happen whenever people are around him. this town, elena’s gilbert life —— it was a proven fact. of course he blames himself for every horrible thing that has happened. if he’d just.. stayed away, none of this would’ve happened. but what stefan didn’t, nor couldn’t, realize.. that everything that has happened throughout the years, would have happened anyway. maybe not the innocent lives that were taken when he made his sudden appearance — but klaus, and every danger that has followed ever since, would’ve happened anyway.   it was just easier to blame himself. to hate himself for it. he even thought losing elena was something he’d done to himself, too.    he just walks around with a heavy heart, a mind he poisoned himself, and a body that aches every day.    maybe its good to let her in. to have her around. be with someone else for a change. he just didn’t want her to get hurt, and it scared him till no end considering he knew what it’s like when people happen to get close to him. they end up hurt.    he run a hand through his hair, awkward smile overtaking his features. ❛ actually.. i still live at the salvatore mansion. i’ve been planning on moving out. do you know any nice, little and empty apartments around town ? ❜
