Honestly many different artists; My current favorite artist is @/SKULLYtwtt on twitter genuinely he is so cool

And whatever character/s I’m into at the time! Alot of my Squid Game art was/is purely fueled by my love for Namsu.

Same with my weak hero fanart, purely Beomseok appreciation and Alice in Borderland etc etc

Non-fandom specific inspiration tho; I like art that has a very warm intimate atmosphere, when I’m being dramatic with my art and I’m trying to paint essentially— like most of what I posted here so far, I like to make it feel not necessarily ethereal but …close? I think intimate really is the best way to describe it honestly. Also it’s very character focused, I should learn backgrounds but i just love love love drawing people.

I like drawing round faces and dark eyes especially so any characters with those features whom are deeply tragic will immediately make me want to pick up a pen:,)

Namsu is peak toxic yaoi cuz what do you mean not only are your player numbers next to each other but you’re incredibly similar to a point of complete understanding that makes you hate each other so much because you really just see the worse parts of yourself reflected in the other yet has something the other wants in terms of how people perceive/interact them despite those shared flaws!?? And not only that you end up the last two alive in your alliance, stripped down to your basic humanity and in need of comfort the person you hate the most is the only one who cares about you in some way even if negatively. That someone still has feelings (even if that feeling is hate) for you and you don’t have to die a nameless loser to everyone in the death games.
