SURPRISING HIM WITH A HOME COOKED CANDLE-LIT DINNER
On the Bright Side
I am writing this blog on day 23 of the shut down in Italy. At first, I was understandably disappointed at how inconvenient this virus has become, because all I want is freedom. But, as it progressed my mindset matured, and now I just care about the safety and well being of the worlds people through this situation. Of course, I want everything to go back to normal, but until then, I choose to…

Red Zoned in Italy
Hello there! What a crazy time to be alive, am I right? The corona virus is impacting the whole world and the vast majority is confused and disappointed by the results. I, for one, am now under quarantine with the rest of Italy which became effective on March 10.Â
Honestly, everyone seems to think that quarantine is super scary, but it’s literally the most uninteresting thing to be a part of. Day…

Happier
When I was 17 years old, I realized that I was depressed. Each summer before cross country season came to a start, I had to get my annual physical. In the doctors office, there was a poster that displayed all of the signs of depression, and I just thought to myself, “…Huh, so that’s what’s going on with me.” Honestly, ever since I was 13 I had these feelings of defeat, anxiety, and deep sadness…

Roaring Secondhand Style
Hello and welcome back to my blog! I know that this whole last year my blog posts have been few and far between, but I hope you guys are ready for some fashion content coming back atcha!!!!
My love for fashion has not died, but my purchasing habits have changed significantly, hints where I was feeling lost and confused about what to write about on a blog that was meant to be about style. Now that…

Something that is very important to me when I am traveling and exploring, is quaint and comfortable coffee shops. I am someone that is often on my computer, writing, researching, editing… so free wifi and a drink enhances my day! Now that I have moved back to Florida, I am living in a place called Gulfport. Super quirky town let me tell ya. I am extremely excited to get to know the area better and document every detail about it.
So first I want to talk about the coffee shops that can be found here! The first one that I visited was called SumitrA Esspresso Lounge. Perfect place for me to sit down and do some writing. I am not a big “desk person.” I consider myself more of a comfy chair person when I do work, which makes this place the absolute best setting guys. Very chill and also has very hippie vibes. There are colorful pillows and side tables and rugs all over the place. Buddha paintings, creative art and tapestries hanging all over. The scent in this establishment isn’t an overwhelming coffee smell. It’s just a comfortable and welcoming aroma. There are tarot and oracle cards on almost every surface incase customers want to do a reading for themselves, or others. As well as books about art and fairies and unicorns! My kind of coffee shop, babes.
Plus! They sell natural, vegan, and CBD infused products. I had never tried anything CBD infused before, so I figured I would give it a try! I got a peanut butter cookie and a tea called Red Berryjuana. I would definitely recommend both of them. Perfect midday snack 🙂 The good vibes are real here. Below are some photos to show you how unique and cozy SumitrA is.

I’m really excited to head to some new coffee shops as I spend more time here! I look forward to documenting each of them as well to report back to you guys 🙂 Feel free to hit me up and let me know your favorite little places to chill.
Love you guys! ❤ I’ll just be finding new writing spots in Sienna Sky style!

Talk Thrifty To Me
Talk Thrifty To Me
When I first started blogging, my intention was to have a fashion blog. Hence the name siennaskySTYLE! I love fashion, style, individuality and expression in the clothes, shoes and accessories you decide to wear/purchase… yet I later realized that shopping and consumerism is bad for the environment, and I would like to reduce my carbon footprint.
One thing that I have done to change my habits has…

Let's Be Brave
Let’s Be Brave
Lately, I have been thinking a lot about the concept of bravery. I drove back down to Florida a few days ago by myself, listening to Stephen King’s IT on audible. A book about fear. I had a lot of time to really consider the importance of being brave.
I could go on and on about large scale examples where the hero does something selfless to save the underdog, or someone in major peril. But we…

My Move to Florida
My Move to Florida
Hello friends! Sienna Sky here, writing to you from the sunshine state of FLORIDA! Let me just say, I love it here. A lot of my friends and family have been asking me about what I am doing while here and how I am, so I thought that maybe a quick blog update could answer some of those questions!
First of all, I am living in a condo that belongs to my college roommates family friend. This condo you…

Fashion Affliction
Fashion is one of the largest industries to ever exist. Some consider fashion an art, some consider it a statement, and some just like to buy clothes because of the affordable availability and marketing appeal! Of course, clothing is necessary, but the consumption of such goods has gotten out of hand, especially since the invention of “fast fashion”. The biggest problem with fast fashion has been…

Solo Travel at Its Finest
I hear from a lot of people, “I really want to travel, but I don’t have the time or money.” It makes me sad to think that some people get stuck and never find the opportunity to see the world. I want everyone out there to realize that if you put your mind to it, if there is something you really truly want, you can attain it. An example I would like to share with you is my goal for 2019: make it…

New Orleans Dreams
So as some of you may know (if you read my previous blog), my goal for this year is to reach every state that I haven’t been to yet. It has always been a dream of mine to visit New Orleans, so the first new state that I went to this year happened to be in Louisiana! Yes I realize that was in January, but I’m here today to give you the lowdown on my amazing NOLA adventure.
Ever since high school…

Where is she now?
Lately I have been getting a ton of questions from friends, family members, and even random people I don’t know! Questions like: “So what are you doing now?” “Are you working?” “Where are you going next?”
To be very honest with you, I ask myself the same questions. I am constantly screaming to myself “WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE!!” Really all I’ve ever wanted to do is explore the world. So…

I'm Back!
I’m Back!
Hello Friends! It sure has been a while, hasn’t it?
Let me explain. I stopped writing blog posts when I started my last semester of college because:
I was really trying to focus on school work and cross country so I could finish strong in both of those things.
I wanted to be able to spend as much time with my friends at school as possible because I knew my time with them was very limited.
The…

Garden of the Gods Expedition
Sometimes in order to survive the stresses of college, one just needs to escape. That’s what I like to do, at least! Last weekend a few of my friends and I decided to take a little trip to the Garden of the Gods in Illinois to connect with nature, clear our heads and absorb some sunlight — all while getting some quality exercise. Oh, and some quality pictures too!Â
For those of you readers who…
