Second exam went great! I wrote a banger of an article about the youths decline in linguistic skills and what school and society could do to improve that (the answer is whimsy)

You know, different people benefit from different things. Something that helps me relax after a difficult week (had an anxiety attack this week + had to do 7 exams in two weeks and writing twice on 3 of them plus having 7 more left) is having a yapathon with my friends or family.

So I texted my friends about us getting on a call later in the week. I initiated the conversation with the assumption that they would probably benefit from taking a break in the middle of exams or even doing a group study session. I'll admit, I was a little overexcited.

After a bit of back-and-forth I understood that my original assumption was incorrect. What is beneficial to them is to go hard on studying, which is perfectly fine.

Anyway my thesis is that "if your benefit comes at the disservice of your friends find something else to benefit from. There are other ways to feel better, or whatever else it is you're looking for"
