4t2 ClumsyAlienn’s Esme Overalls

This is a conversion of ClumsyAlienn’s Esme Overalls, which I combined with Fanseelamb’s Tanktop and some sneakers by Semller.

The overalls are YF-AF with all morphs included.

There are 12 colours available, ClumsyAlienn’s 10 original and 2 new ones made by me using Poppet’s colour actions. You can view the swatch here.

If we truly want to be helpful, we white people have to listen to what black people have to say about this situation and learn how to use our own white privilege for good. Being able to remain “calm” and “rational” when talking about racism and when yet another black person has died at the hands of an oppressive system we ourselves have created and benefit from doesn’t mean our arguments or ideas are morally superior or more “logical”, it just means we have never experienced racism firsthand and therefore we have the capacity of emotionally detach ourselves from the situation. 

We have no right to decide what’s a reasonable reaction for black people when they see their own being killed on the daily simply for existing. There’s only so much you can take before you explode. You get tired of screaming at the top of your lungs when you notice no one is willing to listen. Anger is a valid response when you have been silenced, ignored and abused for so long.

We will never truly understand what is like to live as a black person in a world where anti-blackness runs rampant, so when we choose to be “allies” against racism we choose to let black people do the speaking so we listen and follow. We can help amplify their voices but we should never speak over them. We can use our whiteness as a shield in dangerous situations.

In a perfect world, things could be solved without violence. But this world is deeply flawed and there’s a moment when you realize those in power won’t give a fuck until you force them to. And that is exactly what’s happening right now.

As a final note, please remember that choosing to be anti-racist as a white person is a lifelong commitment. It’s uncomfortable work (and it should be!) because it involves questioning our own beliefs and thoughts every single day, trying to unlearn all the stereotypes and prejudices we’ve been fed since birth. It involves confronting our friends, family and acquaintances when necessary. It’s realizing our experiences aren’t universal. You will have to humble yourself many times but in the end it’s the right thing to do.

Out of town for another week still, but I’ve got this ready to share with you! A retexture and mesh tweak of Grecadea’s conversion of Gramsims’s Merida hair. Compressorized, swatch.

Ages cf-ef: eight colors in two binned families, separate grey is linked to dynamite.

Textures are a blend of TS3 curls and surprisingly, Raon for added hairiness and breaking up the repetition of the pattern.

Mesh edit: smoothed out the animation a little mostly, and then some small placement/scale things.

Note: this version of the mesh overwrites Grecadea’s conversion, use just one or the other!

Actually, I got nostalgic about after Christmas back to school shopping and was cleaning out my projects folder for the year and kinda decided to link the two ideas…?  Yeah, so I’m getting some posts together containing all the random crap I’ve been sitting on this year and queuing the posts through the first week of the new year. That being said, a lot of these projects were probably never released cuz I was trying to fix something like bone assignments or textures and I just forgot about it, so if you see anything like that just tell me.

MENS BOTTOMS ONLY MAXIS MESH (no mesh needed)

I’ve been gone for a while and I’m definitely not back. I’m 99.999999% sure this will be my last upload. Life has been way more than crazy lately and I doubt it’s getting better anytime soon. I also haven’t had any motivation to make cc or even play sims anymore really (which I’m kinda sad but life happens I guess). I’m really just posting this because I was supposed to work on some men’s clothes with @brattylulu and long story short I was really flaky and nothing really happened after that (So if you like these, thank them). For that I’m really sorry. However, one of the few Items I finished that I didn’t hate was these corduroy pants. I tried to recreate the adidas gazelles on the maxis mesh also and I think they came out pretty well. I’ve had these done for a while and then life got in the way so they’ve just been sitting there. Recently I had some free time so I took some quick pics and decided to upload. I hope someone likes these and finds use for them in their game. These are separates. I just paired them with the maxis tanks because I was going for a specific look. Every pant comes with 2 different shoes colors. Besides the colors in the pictures, there’s a green pair of shoes. I hope all is well with everyone. Enjoy. :D
