*As Tsey rose to get moving, he grabbed his lance and laughed at what Damaris said*
There are great bars in Brinstar? After all my visits to Zebes, I never knew!
*Tsey let out a hearty laugh as he enjoyed the wine a bit too much*
You already speak like a leader Martin, don’t worry. I am sure Mother Brain has considered the possibilities and adequately prepared for them. Damaris, Demeter, we should drink together more often!
*Tsey downed the rest of his wine glass in one chug*
*Tsey accepted the wine from Damaris and began drinking it amost instantly*
Disable power and force them into submission while extending Mother’s will, simple enough. Ah, this wine is a true grace for the weary.
Damaris and Demeter! I haven’t seen you two since Utraghus!
*Tsey gave his two comrades a pat on the shoulder as he entered the camp*
I failed my objective, regrettably, Weavel interfered with my task. The dark witch still lives and is lurking around here somewhere...
*Tsey took in the camp, it was clear that it had been set up rather rapidly but nonetheless it was a functional hub*
What is our course of action?
*Despite the pain of his wounds, Tsey lifted Martin onto his shoulder as Cyphern moved the android, Tsey herd pirate weaponry firing in the distance so he followed the noise, upon reaching the source, Federation marines were locked in combat, Tsey laid Martin down upon the ground and looked t Cyphern*
You watch over them, I am going to help out the ground team.
*With that Tsey began to climb a nearby building, Weavel had done a number on him. Each movement felt like it took great effort as Tsey grimaced from the pain. Despite his wounds, the pirate reached the rooftop. A dropship loomed close in a clearing between the bulding Tsey stood on and another office building. With careful aim, Tsey fired a plasma beam into an exposed exhaust vent. The blast ignited the engine, a fiery explosion lit up the sky and sent the dropship spiraling into an adjacent building, glass shattered as the dropship tumbled down to the ground. Tsey took no time and began to fire upon the marines that had been deployed by the now destroyed ship. Searing plasma shots pierced through the armor of the federation soldiers. In a matter of moments, Tsey broke their line from the rear while Xel’s team took care of the front line. The marines proved to be no match for the elite pirates. Tsey yelled out to Xel’s team from atop the building*
Xel, we now have two Martins!
*Tsey climbed out from behind rubble, his wounds had been sealed by his own doing, with plasma searing that he had done with his own lance. Tsey looked over Cyphern and the fallen Martins. Tsey shook his head at the Steamlord while opening up a secure channel to the makeshift pirate outpost*
This is Mother Brain’s inquisitor. We need a retrieval team in the city, we are in an abandoned district west from our base of operations. Bring some medical staff as well, the ones who specialize in alien physiology for the relief effort, one of the wounded here is human.
*Tsey cut the signal abruptly due to being worried that it may be traced by the countless hostile forces in the area*
*The electric shock from Blujay's prodding caused Tsey to cough as he laid on the ground helpless to defend himself in his current state* The two of you are dishonorable scum. You call yourself, Blujay, an alien should not be interfering in our affairs. I know you are not of this world. Samus, you have slaughtered countless members of my race without mercy. *Tsey looked at Weavel with disapproval despite his voice growing weaker* And you stand by her as if she were your ally. *Tsey began to violently cough up more blood as he was trapped but he remained silent in regards to any information related to Mother Brain*
*Tsey gasps for air as he rolls over onto his back and stares into the air* You can kill me if you will, I feel as though the lack of my existence will change nothing in this realm. I lack purpose, I am only useful as a drone.
*Tsey clutched his abdomen with one hand as he fell to the ground onto his stomach a mere few feet away from Weavel. His other hand slammed his lance onto the ground, for a moment, Weavel's battle hammer aimed at Tsey's head while his own lance glowed with plasma energy pointed towards Weavel's cracked visor. Neither of them shot the killing blow until Weavel tossed his weapon to the side. Tsey's breathing was strained but his lance ceased emitting the glow of plasma as Tsey powered it off and released it, causing it to make a metallic clank as it hit the ground. Tsey was at a loss for words or reason as to why he could not simply kill Weavel when he had the grandest opportunity. His only thoughts were to muster all of his effort into asking Weavel why he did the same* You hate Mother Brain...so why wouldn't you kill her lap dog?
*Weavel's scythe slipped through a crack in Tsey's armor around his abdomen, the scythe pierced his skin as it penetrated his body. Tsey uncontrollably spat blood from his mouth which got stuck inside his helmet, the pungent smell filled his mask as he was still caught pinned against the wall. Tsey held onto his lance with one hand, he twisted it to Weavel's leg and fired the plasma cannon into it, hoping the blast would disable Weavel's leg as well as push him away*
*Fortunately Tsey's armor withstood the battle hammer round but the impact cracked his armor as he was thrown again into the wall. He quickly regained his feet, this time Tsey charged Weavel, initially firing a plasma beam burst at Weavel before twisting his energized lance blade into an uppercut directed at Weavel's non-gun arm*
*As Tsey got pulled into Weavel by his grapple beam, his lance got caught against his lower body so Tsey freed his right hand and began to forcefully smash his zebetite armored gauntlet into Weavel's visor*
*Tsey let out a laugh as he deflected Weavel's initial scythe lunge to the side* Then come at me! *Tsey twisted his lance up to the plasma beam side and shot abeam at Weavel*
You are so self righteous, you whine as if you are the only being to suffer in this world. Mother Brain has a plan set in motion for the Federation, this rebellion promotes countless opportunities for her to extend her will, you are a fool to even question her involvement. *Tsey focused his sights on Weavel, the bounty hunter had a habit to get under his skin*
*Tsey knelt in the shadows as the group approached the blockade. A trail of oil led to explosives that were kept hidden on the side behind the hostiles as they came to examine the rubble. Tsey activated his plasma lance and set fire to the trail. The flames quickly followed the path until they reached the nova canisters, the canisters detonated, dumping rubble on the other side of the passage, trapping Tsey with the others inside the chamber. Tsey let out a hysterical laugh as he viewed his opponents* Samus Aran, the dark witch, the Federation's most notorious assassin, the smuggler with the outdated crossbow. The human alien who wields a foreign blade. Martin, the fallen warrior. And, of course... *Tsey pointed his lance at Weavel* Weavel, somehow our paths are fated to cross wherever I tread. *Tsey spun his lance, it flowed with super heated plasma energy* I am here for Martin, I wish for you all to allow me the honor of dueling the fallen warrior alone.
*The pirate inquisitor sat in the hold of a stealted pirate vessel in route to Drelion, the Martin cyborg and the Steamlord were present as well*
Mother Brain needs you to make a name for yourself, everyone thinks your dead. This operation needs to be handled delicately, right now your main focus will be aiding civilians while combatting the Aurora Unit’s forces. This is an act to gain you favor and protection, remember ultimately Mother Brain wants to partner with you when you become chairman. We will part ways upon landing. There is another matter that I have been assigned to.
*Tsey’s hands tightened as he thought of his own task*
(Slaughter a dark witch and her thrall who claims to be Martin. Yet I saw right through this “Martin” easily. I miss the days where my main worry was Weavel’s impulsive nature...)
*Tsey rose to his feet, bloodied and battered from the fight, his adrenaline struggled to subside since a moment before he faced a chance of death. Mother Brain's sudden interruption came as a surprise to Tsey initially, but he then reasoned that Mother Brain would certainly have installed a means of surveillance on Tsey's zebetite armor, as well as a probably means of termination if he ever went rogue.. Tsey looked down upon Vexon in a matter of respect and not superiority* You have my word that Epsilon will not be harmed in my care. *Tsey knelt down and placed energy bindings on Vexon's hands. The task proved difficult with Tsey's wounds but he still managed to link the cuffs* Sorry it had to end this way. *The grass around Vexon and Tsey was blown violently as Tsey's ship hovered above them. Tsey stared out at the burning fields once more as the ship landed* You swore an oath to protect Epsilon, just as I swore to avenge Methiax. I will not let my resolve waiver and I hope that yours does not either, for one day I would like to finish our duel at full strength. *Tsey proceeded to drag Vexon aboard the ship, putting Vexon in the cargo holding area along with Epsilon. Tsey then was forced to corral the chozo pirates Tsey utilized his scanners to find the highest concentration of them and as it turned out, they had been observing the battle from afar. Tsey activated his ship's weapons systems and put them on standby as he hovered before the chozo pirates. He then activated his ship's external speakers to emit his voice as he spoke* I do not wish to use force, Mother Brain has requested your service. I have Epsilon and Vexon aboard already, come peacefully and I assure all of you safe passage to Zebes.
