The originally line up of one of Britain's finest metal bands Black Sabbath today announced the reunion 33 years in the making. The band, along with producer Rick Rubin confirmed the band will be recording a new album before headlining the UK's Download Festival (Sunday mainstage) and embarking on a WORLDWIDE Arena Tour in 2012! Download announce first headliners for 2012
This evening on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show, Metallica confirmed the circulating rumours that they'll be headlining Download Festival 2012.
Download's booking Andy Copping had been dropping hints of a 'twist' which had led many fans to fear it would mean a "LouTallica" collaboration at the festival but tonight drummer Lars Ulrich announced Metallica will play their Black Album in its entirety on the Saturday night at Donnington Park.
Bravo Mr Copping, bring on June!

This morning Red Hot Chili Peppers announced 3 huge outdoor summer 2012 shows in the UK and Ireland!
Red Hot Chili Peppers and concert promoters Kilimanjaro (the company behind Sonisphere Festival) have announced two huge outdoor shows for June 2012. RHCP's will play the iconic Knebworth and Sunderland's Stadium of Light on June 23rd and 24th next summer. The band will also play a show for their Irish fans in Dublin on June 26th. Knebworth has played host to gigs by Oasis, Led Zeppelin, and of course the past three years of KiliLive's Sonisphere Festival.
