Corporate Identity and Brand Management Branding and rebranding project for coffee shop at Changi Village from “Hands Food Garden” (which sounded similar “Hands Foot Mouth Disease”) to “The Village Chef”. “The Village Chef” has been assuming its brand new identity since 2006 and has added a subsidiary “The Village Corner” at Toa Payoh recently. The subsidiary’s name “The Village Corner” was one of final choices for the original branding and rebranding project. Overall theme's Chinese food + Changi Village - "Village" comes from "Changi Village", actual shop location - "Chef" to emphasise boss' impeccable culinary skills - Village's 'V' formed with chopsticks - Chinese auspicious colour red used in title and finished with a Chinese stamp - Chinese name means "Good food at the village" or "good village-style food".
