They were third years; their club was doing well; Yamaguchi was a regular; Yamaguchi was naturally charming; Yamaguchi smiled at everyone; Yamaguchi’s collarbones were sensual—

“Tsukishima.”

Kei straightened. “Yes?”

Ukai looked at him oddly. “You okay?”

Kei nodded, embarrassed. He didn’t have a possessive streak. He didn’t. He was just… what? Zoning out and thinking about how it would be better if Yamaguchi didn’t have people lining up to date him? He was a bad friend.

In snk lets not forget levi has the stuff that can turn someone into a titan. And didnt erwin tell him to only give it to someone dying? (My memorys sketchy there) so levi turns up injects armin and boom. He not dead nd is now a titan

Yeah many people is saying he could use the serum in Armin but I think he’s too far from them in distance? He’s outside while the squad is on the other side of the wall. Not to mention his horse is gone and he’s actually sorrounded by titans. And even if he’s lucky and gets to kill those titans and survives, he’ll probably end up using a lot of gas too. On the other hand, if by some lucky chance he got the oportunity to use the serum on Armin, that would mean titan!Armin would have to eat someone in order to go back to being human again. So that would mean anyone from Levi’s squad dying instead. I don’t think Levi has many chances to be honest. He could always use the serum on himself as a last resort, and eat a random soldier to go back to being human, but…

Now I’m sorry that I made you catch up with it haha. None of my friends are into SNK anymore and even though I still follow the manga, I rarely talk to anyone about it anymore. I got really tired of the endless suffering and the constant magnification of drama within the fandom (I mean, the story itself is enough drama for me; I’m too old weak to bear with any more than that :’) ).

I can’t say I wasn’t surprised about Armin, to be honest. In fact, I don’t know if I’m in denial or I’m just taking previous characters ‘deaths’ in the manga as evidence, but I’m not yet 100% convinced about him dying lol. I mean, I know the story is much less forgiving than other shounen manga, but Isayama proved us that not everything is completely and accurately realist in his story (especially regarding characters deaths). So I wouldn’t be surprised if Armin’s internal organs weren’t burnt and he survived by little (part of me would be thankful too). But for now, it serves very well to the main purpose of Eren finally DOING something functional to the story (hopefully). So it’s fine I guess. 

Haha yes I’ve been suffering for Reibert, more than ever lately. But I’ve had a lot of time to prepare for this, you know? Having those two as your faves is already making a really bad decision and you know from the beggining how screwed they -and you- are. What I’m not comfortable about though is how much Reiner’s character lacks development, even at this point of the story? and even having died once. Even Bertolt has had more development at this point, which I find hilarious. But we still don’t know much more than what we knew about Reiner 30 or 40 chapters ago. If Isayama kills him without giving him some credit as a character, I’m going to be very dissapointed.

I’m not complaining about Bertolt finally giving no fucks by the way. In fact I’ve been wanting to see him like that for too long, and even though it wasn’t very clear what thing in particular made him switch from one mode to another, I’m very thankful at how he’s been acting in the latest chapters. I assume it was Reiner telling him he hasn’t been a reliable person in the past? fuck you Reiner by the way, let me buy you a memory pill so you can appreciate how much shit your best friend has had to deal with in order to save your mentally unstable ass and continue with your mission.  I really love how Bertolt finally got rid of his attachment to Annie and Reiner (and to the wish of returning home) only to take full responsibility of his actions. He now goes for what he believes in. It’s clearly not what he wants, but he firmly believes he’s doing the right thing. I’m very proud of my tol baby.

So, uh, I’m finding the manga satisfying in the action sense but totally unsatisfying in the emotional sense.

I couldn’t agree more. Even the art has improved a lot, especially in still / quiet scenes where Isayama used to be weaker at. But I feel things happen either too slowly or too fast in this manga. The whole Historia arc was incredibly slow and I don’t understand why do we still have so many unresolved questions from the beggining. 

I’ve been getting into Eruri too lately. Always rooting for the doomed guys. And as much as I’d love to see him survive, I don’t think I’d be happy seeing him as a titan shifter.
