Because I can't believe I have to say this (read: because the eng version is THAT bad), here's some things that the translation royally messed up:
In Vil's school uniform, Cater does comment on Vil's eyelashes but he also calls him beautiful and instead of "am I dreaming" says he thought of dating him. Vil's response is "Dating me is more expensive than you know" and it ends with Cater giving up because he can't afford him. There's no price tag on dreaming about Vil, that would be stupid.
Jamil is dear to Kalim. Not as a brother. Not as a cousin. Kalim calls him best friend and talks about how they'll always be together. No family ties there.
Leona's kingdom isn't "all about respecting the ladies" but rather the ladies are dominant there, as usual in animal society. Leona and Ruggie don't "respect women," they are scared of them.
Thaumarks are called Madol.
Blastcycles are called Magiwheels.
Spelldrive is called Magical Shift/Magift.
Housewarden is stupid, they're dorm leaders.
Special Spell is called Unique Magic as in, it is magic that only this person is capable of casting in this way.
They don't actually use the US school system and their ages don't match the system Aniplex is trying to push on them.
Just don't read anything Floyd or Cater say. Period. Most of it is so off and wrong that it's actually sad.
Sam originally has body-paint and a pattern on his vest that look like a skeleton.
Sebek is far more respectful to Malleus than Silver is and should be calling him Master Malleus or Young Master at all times.
A lot of these boys swear. Honestly, do yourself a favor and look up ACTUAL translations, not the censored bs you're being given.
Cater actually has two older sisters who used to dress him up like a girl when he was younger. They also made him hate sweets.
Cater is not a memelord making fun of his friends' mental breakdown, he is a sensitive, empathetic, and severely depressed individual and I honestly don't know why they did what they did with him.
Floyd is not a "lol so random xD" kind of character either, he is moody and gets easily bored of things that are easy for him ā which is nearly everything because he's kind of a prodigy. One thing he almost never gets bored of is teasing people, especially those that get emotional easily because irrational things like emotions keep him interested.
Vil doesn't hate poor people and if you can't take care of yourself because of mental health problems, he would never condemn or insult you, he's way more likely to help you out.
The one yelling for hours after Trey and Che'nya took Riddle out to play and for a tart was Riddle's mother, NOT Trey's parents. How do you mess up this bad...
Speaking of whom, Riddle's mom is not slightly controlling, she's downright abusive. They toned her down quite a lot in EN but in JP, she spends hours yelling at Trey, his parents, AND his younger siblings, actively prevents Riddle from forming any relationships, gives him extremely harsh mental punishments for the most minor of missteps, even withdraws food from him if she feels like he's eaten enough calories for the day.
