Hi! Welcome to my f/o blog! You can call me Gomper.
My main f/o is Tsumugi Tsukioka; he's the one I’ll be posting the most about and will be the default when coming to reblogs or ask games.
I’m kind of iffy on sharing; platonic f/os I'm fine with sharing, but please ask for any other f/os!
This blog is just for fun! I don’t want any discourse here, i just want this to be a chill space for me (and others) to gush about selfshipping.
Below are the tags I use for this blog, as well as my other f/os. Thanks for reading!
Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd (Fire Emblem: Three Houses): #🩵🦁 (platonic)
(this will be updated; I'll probably get an f/o from date everything! at some point lol)
Any headcanons, drabbles, scenarios, etc. that includes y/n or reader: #x reader
Ask games: #ask game
Other notes:
Polaris is Byakuya Togami; I headcanon her as a transwoman and I use the name Polaris on this blog. On that topic, I use both he/him and she/her pronouns for Tsumugi.
btw if you ever feel guilty for not posting/talking/thinking about your selfship enough, it's okay. whether you're stressed or busy or just not feeling it as much, whatever reason, your f/o(s) still love you so much! they would never pressure you for anything and they want you to take care of yourself. take as much time as you need, they'll still be waiting for you and supporting you 💙
there is something so very special about a selfshipper's headcanons for their f/o. likee you KNOW they come from a place of love and adoration that nobody else could conceive of otherwise. thank god for selfshippers honestly
I love it when someone selfships with a character I like but personally don't selfship with. It's like- "YESSSS ty for being such a good partner to them!!!! They deserve all the love"
(Note: I have yet to find a proper frame of reference for firbolg aging in Exandria. While they can live up to 500 years in the Forgotten Realms, the Exandria's firbolgs have been homebrewed enough that I’m not willing to take that as canon, and any firbolg pcs and npcs haven’t really given us a straight answer. If there is a proper description of firbolg maturity, please tell me, but otherwise, she’s around her early 20s in maturity)

Story:
Faerieth was born into a family apothecary that operates out of the small village of Shadycreek Run
Her grandparents were part of the Guiatao Clan, but her parents left it in order to pursue alchemy and earn money.
Early in her life, at about ten, one of her grandparents died, and the Clays were entrusted with burying them. It wasn’t too big of a deal, but it introduced the families to each other, and the Clays continued to use the Birchpaths’ apothecary for several years
A year ago, her parents caught wind of Yeza, a skilled alchemist in Felderwin who had been writing them for months of his findings. They decided to visit him in order to collaborate + get more usable supplies as most of the plant life is dying in shadycreek, leaving Faerieth behind to keep watch over the shop.
Months later, in the wreckage of an attack on the village by the Kryn Dynasty, Caduceus finds their bodies, and Jester sends the news back to Fae. She doesn’t take it super well.
Around the same time, word spreads in Shadycreek that only one Clay has remained at the Blooming Grove. This piques Fae’s curiosity, as the Clays had been leaving for years now, but with so many of them, it was hard to believe only one remained.
Out of curiosity and concern, she closes the shop for a day and heads to the Blooming Grove to investigate, bringing along with her some goods, including fresh tea and alchemical supplies as a token of gratitude for all those years ago.
On the way, she notices the corruption of the wood has gotten closer to the grove, before reaching the temple and meeting Caduceus.
They talk for a bit, she offers tea, he offers a few of the plants that grow there that aren’t accessible in shadycreek, and they just kinda vibe together. Fae visits more often and for longer, and the two grow close in that time. Cad becomes more like a father figure to her as the days go on, and it’s very wholesome.
After he’s recruited by the nein, Faerieth doesn’t see him until he returns to the grove, which isn’t for months, though Jester does send her messages if Caduceus wants to communicate.
In Cad’s absence, he asks Fae to watch over the grove as much as she can, which she does, but it’s nowhere near as lovely as it once was without an inhabitant.
