In which (Y/n) manages to seduce Floyd after having drunk one of Azul's potions that turned her into a siren. The next day, Floyd just won't leave her side, prompting Azul to force her to work as a waitress in the Mostro Lounge, too.

"Welcome to Mostro Lounge. What can I do for you?"
You impatiently tapped your pen against the notepad used to jot down orders. Despite standing in an ocean of students â customers and waiters alike â you felt very much unsafe and nervous, causing your eyes to dart back and forth in fear of being squeezed by a loving eel again. A shudder ran down your back as you rolled your sore shoulders.
"Hm... could I have aâ" the blue-haired customer said, causing your ears to perk up curiously. You recognised this person, and the other two that sat at the table â they were your idiot friends. Deuce's eyes were wide as he stared at you with wide eyes. "Wait, (Y/n)!?"
"Guys?! I didn't recognise youâ" You exhaled as you held your head in exhaustion, your eyes shut to drown out the ambient noise. "I'm so exhausted... the faces start to all blend together after a few hours of serving."
"What are you doing here?" Ace asked, not knowing if he should risk laughing at you with how much of a zombie you resembled. In the end, he decided against it because of the angry growl you sent his way.
Grim had his arms furrowed with his lips pulled into an adorable pout. "You didn't feed me tuna after you left in a hurry to talk to Azul this morning," the cat hissed, but his complaints just flew right past your ears as you let out a bitter yet amused laugh. "Your explanation better be good."
Taking a deep breath, you began explaining, "So, funny story: Yesterday, I drank one of Azul's potion that turned me into a siren to fulfil my side of our contract, and then somehow, I managed to seduce Floyd?" Your sentence sounded more like a question the more you went on with how unsure you actually were; in truth, you didn't remember any of this, and solely had to rely on Azul's testimonies of Jade having to jump into their backyard pool to pry his twin away from your siren form. Cringing slightly, you shot your friends a lopsided smile. "So now Floyd isâ"
"Shrimpy~" You jumped when you felt a pair of arms snake around your waist, only tightening when you started to squirm. Your smile fell quicker than it came. Your back met someone's chest, and you didn't even have to turn around to know who it was. Soon, you felt a chin being rested atop your head, causing you to simply exhale in exhaustion and slight annoyance. "What's taking you so long?"
"Oh hey... Floyd..." You tensed when his arms tightened until you found it hard to breathe. The energetic eel continued to press loving kisses to your scalp, ignoring the uncomfortable gazes not only your friends but also all the customers in your near proximity shot you. A little smile appeared on your lips, and you exhaled; it wasn't as if you didn't like him back â no, it couldn't be farther from the truth...
Deuce shrugged, smiling. "I don't see anything different in his behaviour." Putting a finger to his chin, he murmured, "Isn't he always this touchy with you, (Y/n)?"
"Help. Please," you mouthed quietly, a panicked and vexed scowl on your face. The real reason why you wanted this to stop was because... you couldn't bear the thought of your crush being forced to like you back; there was nothing more painful and guilt-inducing than this. "My heart can't take this anymore."
"Nah, sorry." Ace shrugged the same way Deuce did, even wincing a little bit when Floyd began glaring at him in an intimidating way to prevent your friends from helping you. "We don't wanna die young, (Y/n)."
"You were the ones who got me into this mess!" you cried out, starting to thrash around a little bit in Floyd's arms, which only made him giggle playfully. Frustrated, you began to glare at your three idiotic friends. "The only reason why I signed a contract with Azul was because you idiots broke his fish tank and Grim ate some of the fish!"
"Hey, I spat them out again!" Grim crossed his arms, averting his eyes away from you angrily.
Huffing and puffing, you covered your face in anger. "Still, you traumatised his fish and that cost me extra..."
"I'm glad you signed the contract, hehe~" Floyd murmured into your ear, nibbling softly at the shell of your ear. You jumped whilst your face grew a bright red. He mischievously pulled away, and shot you an apologetic smile â oh, you couldn't be angry at him... But you definitely could be angry at your friends! Just as you were about to yell at them again for having dragged you into this mess, Ace interrupted you with a knowing grin that he sent Floyd's way.
"Of course he's happy." Ace wasn't always as stupid as he always appeared to be, and he definitely had a talent for seeing through other people acting idiotic just for the sake of it, maybe because he often liked to do it himself. Grinning at Floyd, whom he knew something was off about, Ace cooed, "He gets to act all lovey-dovey with his dearest (Y/n) without having to make up excuses, and without his twin scolding him for it."
Terribly amused laughter escaped Floyd's chest, so much that your cheeks began to grow warm due to how much his chest began to vibrate. Then, he immediately stopped laughing to glare at Ace's smug expression; the sudden change of demeanour was scary. "I don't know what you're talking about~" Floyd flashed his fangs. Then, he turned to you. "Do you need a break, deary? Should I cover your shift for you?" He pressed an adoring kiss to your temple, causing you to close your eyes in exasperation. "Everything for Shrimpy!"
"No no, Floyd... it's alright." You exhaled, trying to not lash out at anyone else. "Just please stop squeezing the life out of me."
"This is... oddly endearing," Deuce commented as he scratched his head, not really sure what to say. Everyone â including you, and excluding a very satisfied Floyd â shot him unnerved and surprise stares, causing him to shrug nervously.
"Right..." Grim nodded, a little sadistic grin on his lips as he added, "As long as he doesn't kill her."
Deuce chortled slightly. "If that happens, I definitely am not gonna waste all my money on feeding you with tuna."
"Who wants to bet?" Ace asked deviously.
"Guys! I'm standing right here!" you yelled, your face contorted into a frown.
"I bet ten Madol."
"Deuce, you can go higher than that... don't hold back."
"Fine, twenty."
"I'll go ahead and bet thirty."
Before you could start protesting against their silly betting, Floyd had already grown bored of teasing you in front of your friends, and thus thrown you over his shoulder to carry you out of the lounge. "Floydâ where are we going?!" you asked in panic, thrashing around with your fists banging against his back.
"I need a break," was his simple answer. "So... let's go take a break, Shrimpy!"
Your eyes widened in surprise, and then in horror. "But what about Azul? Won't he be angry?" you whispered once you had left the lounge, the fresh air wafting into your face and clearing your jumbled thoughts. Taking in a deep breath, you let your body go limb because always having to crane your neck up like that definitely was not comfortable.
Floyd hummed a soft tune, seemingly ignoring your exclaims of worry. Once he had arrived by a secluded area of the school's courtyard, he gently lowered you to the ground. As your feet hit the floor again, he pulled you towards a lonesome yet serene bench.
"No need to be scared of Azul! I'll protect you," Floyd exclaimed cheerfully.
The genuine beaming smile on his lips made your heart flutter slightly. "...thanks, Floyd," you mumbled as you got onto your toes to pet his head. You were about to retract your hand when his own hand shot forward to wrap itself around your wrist. A little yelp escaped your lips as he yanked at your hand to bring it back to his head.
"Hehe, I love it when you do that." A big grin was on his face. He let go of your wrist once he knew you had understood what he meant. "Do it again."
"This?" you asked in amusement as you ran your hand through his hair. A blissful sigh escaped his lips, and he nodded eagerly.
"Yeah... it feels nice..." Without warning you, Floyd pulled you onto the bench, resulting in you now being sprawled out over his lap. You wrapped your arms around his neck to not lose your balance, and as you were about to remove your arms from around him, he wrapped his arms around you in a suffocating yet loving embrace. "I love you, Shrimpy," he cooed as he nuzzled his face into your neck, causing you to laugh at how much his breath tickled you.
When he retreated again to lazily put his head against your shoulder, you exhaled in utter pain at how much in love with you he seemed â especially because none of this was genuine due to the siren's song yesterday. "...you say that because of what happened yesterday," you said, sighing in utter heart-break as you pushed a stray strand of blue hair behind his ear. He looked so peaceful and so... in love; tomorrow, he would remember nothing of this. "You don't mean it."
"Shrimpy is so silly~" Floyd kept his eyes close, but a big grin snuck its way to his lips, as if he knew something you did not. "Of course I love you! You're always so nice to me and make me feel very special!"
His words caused your cheeks to redden. Sighing softly, you leant your head against his. "Floyd... you won't remember any of this... but..." You took a deep breath, scared that your voice would break as you finally said, "I love you, too."
Your words caused Floyd's grin to widen, and slowly, he pried one eye open again. "Shrimpy is so cute whenever she says I won't remember this!" he chirped, tickling you to make that sad frown disappear from your face. It worked, and soon, you were a laughing mess in his arms, begging for mercy. Now was his chance to tell you the truth. Grinning, he started blowing a sweet tune. "Oh, did I forget to tell you that the effect of the siren's seduction wore off a few hours ago?"
Pushing him away from you immediately, you screamed, "What?!"
You continued to ogle him with wide eyes, disbelief written all over your face. For a moment, you were frozen in shock, allowing Floyd to take in the horrified expression on your face. Then, you started to squirm and thrash around to free yourself from his grip.
"Hey, don't struggle around like that!" Floyd bellowed in annoyance, tightening his arms around your waist to keep you securely in his lap. "Didn't you just say you liked me back?"
"I-I didn't think you'd rememberâ" You continued thrashing around in embarrassment until that feeling was replaced by anger. Finally, you froze, only to glare at him angrily. "On second thought, you bastard! You weren't even under the effect of that siren song from yesterday all those times you clung to my leg, hugged me to death, and kissed me until I almost fainted?!"
Giggling, he rubbed his cheek against yours. "Nah, those were because I adore you~" he cooed, peppering your face with fleeting kisses. "And your reactions were priceless!"
Cursing under your breath, you hissed, "I hate you."
"Say that again." He began to laugh in a scary way as he further tightened his arms around you, cutting off your air supply, and leaving you to flop around like a helpless fish on land. An evil grin appeared on his lips. "I dare you."
"Wait, I-I love you, Floyd!" you wheezed out, causing a satisfied smile to appear on his lips. "Please stop suffocating meâ" Finally, he loosened his hold around you, and allowed you to suck in fresh air. You fell into his arms, your head landing on his chest as your own rose and fell with every gulp of air you took.
Devilishly giggling to himself, he continued cradling you in his arms. "That's my (Y/n)! Now, be a good Shrimpy and give your favourite eel a kiss~"

Desperate times calls for desperate measures and the good âol prefect just happens to be a pro when it comes to that.
Being already familiar with Drama Audios from his interests, both idols and anime alike, Idia would find himself buying a CD without even knowing why. He just did it out of impulse, like something was telling him that he needs it. Roleplaying is definitely what heâs into, often about being in a relationship with you. Heâll find himself smiling with every tingle your voice inflicts on him, and would eventually reach a delusional state of mind believing that youâre actually in the same room as him.
Itâs just a problem when he would talk to you in real time and would get fantasy and reality mixed up. Idia would come up to talk to you about something that happened in his little fantasy, and you would be stuck there, having no idea what heâs talking about.
Ace would definitely rope Deuce into buying a CD because he doesnât want to be the only degenerate in this house. Poor guy flares up with just the slightest blow on the ear, and your whispering voice just sounds so...different from what heâs used to. He has butterflies all over his stomach, but as he continues to listen, he slowly calms down, immersing himself on the story your giving out. Albeit, his blush doesnât lessen, covering his mouth throughout of it all.
Meanwhile Ace is losing his shit at Deuceâs reaction, his stomach hurting from laughing too much. He would never admit that the reason he got his friend involved is just to cover his own ass, to distract himself from the intense effect your voice gives him. He listens well, but rather than words, heâs focusing way too much on the small noises you make. Accidental moans, groans, and grunting, the more he listens, the tougher it gets to control his hand from relieving the tightness down his pants.
Bonus points if you asked them about their thoughts on your performance the next day, youâll get a very interesting reaction.
Azul bought one just because heâs curious on why itâs so popular these days, he needs to make sure that it wouldnât interfere with his own business. However, he listens to one just to check, and before he knew it, he was buying another one, and another one and another...Until he got the complete set. He looks like he was just about to destroy your little business before, but now, Floyd and Jade wonders why he never mentioned it again despite your sales skyrocketing at this point. Heâs quietly working on his paper works on his office, with earphones stuck on his ear and calling out to him in the midst of it is basically asking for a death sentence. Azul will never admit it, but it calms him down, your gentle voice ringing on his ear, filled with praises and such is giving him so much motivation that he could keep on working forever.Â
Malleus loves hearing you talk, especially if youâre talking about yourself, telling your stories, and your hobbies. Itâs just a shame that he can only see you at night, and even then, thereâs no certain possibility that heâll actually see you at said time. So, when Lilia came home with an audio of you just talking, he thought it was strange, but interested him nonetheless. It was definitely something that he can see you coming up with, and boy does it really satisfy his needs. He spends hours alone in one room, eyes closed and is basically at peace, your voice was really keeping his loneliness away.Â
Lilia could only giggle as he peeks through the door, taking note of that gentle smile plastered on his face through out of it all. It seems like the future heir would really be looking forward to your next visit, so youâll have to make sure to really entertain him.
Of course, Malleus wouldnât be the only one Lilia would share this to; it seems like Silver has taken a liking to your audios as well. He already sleeps pretty heavily before, but listening to your voice like this felt like youâre putting a sleeping curse on him that only you would be able to break. He never feels guilty about falling asleep if itâs you anymore, and he never gets disturbing nightmares that wakes him up in cold sweat too. Itâs like he can almost hear your voice in his dreams, protecting him from anything that could disturb his slumber. Lilia especially loves taking pictures of him whenever he would crack a smile whilst asleep.
Being a professional himself, Vil would judge your performance with strict standards. He doesnât go easy on his words, and points out all your flaws with a clear head in the name of perfection. But honestly, heâs pretty frustrated. He didnât know that you were capable of doing this, that your voice was actually this...appealing to say the least. He feels kinda cheated that youâve hidden a hobby like this from him for so long, and selling your voice to other people is definitely something that annoys him the most. But as he sat on his desk, his ears stuffed full of your whispers with the full intent of criticizing your work, he couldnât help but to let out a proud smile. Hey, youâre not as bad as he thought you were, after all.

TW chapters before, have always been social and psychological, but chapter 5 in particular is a huge middle finger to stereotype-and common beliefs/views of stereotypes.Â
Many assumes Vilâs backstory involved him being poor, but Kalim already proves just because youâre rich doesnât mean your life have no problem. And before the chapter starts, many people antagonize Vil for he is harsh towards Epel, and heâs the prettily elegant one, âthe mean girlâ, in hatersâ words, when Leona and Idia, who are objectively bigger jerks, who are understandably more disliked in-universe, get passed in the fandom for they are relatable/more masculine/boyish. Yes, ugly people have their own problem. That doesnât mean pretty people donât have their problem, ranging from being harassed, prejudiced as superficial, and being bitch, etc.
Media and culture, for years, have been painting masculinity as strength and femininity as weakness, lawful is bad and chaotic is good, the beautiful/elegant people is wrong and the cute ones are innocent/on the right side.Â
Riddle already have it bad for he is lawful, but Vil has it worse for he is not only lawful, but also being feminine and pretty. Not to say we have to be unreasonably lawful like Riddle or super strict like Vil, whatâs Iâm trying to say is, the mindset of law and femininity is purely bad and chaos and masculinity is purely good is wrong-though, generally âpureâ mindset is wrong.Â
Related to this, TW actually run on gray morality, not black and white. Youâre too black and you get hated (like Leona and Idia) , but if youâre too white you get laughed (like Deuce, Jack, Kalim) And itâs fine. Everyone can be both wrong and right in different times , and thatâs how it is in real life too. Nobody is pure evil nor they are pure good . Purity (in concept and principle)is never good actually.
Many people are rooting for Epel for the points above, for he is both chaotic and want to be masculine, and antagonize the pretty, lawful and feminine Vil, but overtime fandom are proven to be wrong. Pome chapter is huge callout for the stereotyping mindset, as well, the previous points. What Epel wants isnât âfor people to look past his looksâ, itâs âto be as masculine as possible in both looks and personalityâ . He is not fighting prejudice, he is simply giving in to the idea of toxic masculinity. He doesnât want people to think heâs a badass despite his look, he want to be beefy so ppl can tell heâs a badass in first glance. His idea of masculinity is to talk shit to people , be beefy as possible, to pick fights and only fight with fists. He is projecting the idea of masculinity to Jack, like how he says he wants to be beefy as Jack. Itâs like when girls using a model, or basically someone else, to be her base of ideal beauty, which is equally unhealthy. Itâs not fine even if itâs boys who do it, as itâs still not accepting who you actually are.Â
Speaking about Jack, he too is a victim of prejudice. In his robe story, Ace is surprised heâs from Pyroxene and not the Savannah., implying the prejudice beastmen only come from the savannah (and gladly Riddle immediately calls Ace out for it), in his voice lines, he is offended by Ruggieâs disbelief reaction when he says he never got red mark in exams, and he is also offended when MC is shocked he says he want to go to the library, implying the prejudice âbeefy men must be brainless muscleâ. Jack, is still proud of his beastmen heritage and is sporty and active, but he is also fighting prejudice of beefy men are dumbasses by studying as hard as he does his physical exercises.Â
We are also fed by culture and media that the word âuglyâ and âbeautifulâ is limited to just visual things, when Pomefiore, Rook and Vil makes it clear âbeautyâ is everything that can be your advantage/power or your every good trait (like being unyielding, having bond and understanding others, and having special code of conduct). Which it means, the opposite also applies-that the word âuglyâ Vil mentioned to himself before his overblot is more referring to his other traits. That he finally cheats, that he is weak and gives in to his stress-if he thinks strength is beautiful then he must thought weakness is ugly.Â
Not to say looks doesnât matter, because it is, as we humans are visual creatures, and if visuals donât matter, we donât only wouldnât have fashion or beauty care products, or visual arts, but even visual informations like newspapers, books, or even socmed pages, and fashion can be a form of self expression. The problem is when people donât use their brain and see past through someoneâs looks. Looks is part of oneâs identity, but itâs not all there is to them.
Riddle paints himself as the judge and executioner, not only establishing law of the Queen of Hearts but also punishes people who crossed her rules on the place with his UM and decapitating them from their magic. Vil, meanwhile, paints himself as a tutor. Heâs strict, but heâs not lawful for the sake of law. He seeks to help people grow, to taught people things, but being strict teacher he is, he refuses to teach in first go, letting you try your own method first (Deuceâs lab coat story),or that  when he agrees to help, he will teach you how to do it instead of doing it and gives you the final result (Jamilâs dorm uniform) Alternatively, he can be pestered to help (Halloween, Malleus pretty much pestering him with the whole western dragon vs eastern dragon difference for one hour ), or,despite all his complaints, he will help anyway (Fairy gala, Vil mentions Idia often asks for his help) . He also congratulates ppl who did grow well, even if they did beat him. (fairy gala ending, Epel when finally admitting cuteness is advantage too, Deuce right after he beats him) , And he also breaks the pattern of great seven incarnate harassing MC and gets gradually more hostile about it. He can also appreciate otherâs kindness (his own robe story)
Fandom complained, âsave Epel, he doesnât fit in Pomefiore, and heâs stuckâ but is he? He did , in fact, have a choice, mentioned in Jadeâs dorm uniform by Vil âYou know how to change dorms, right Epel?â Itâs by his  own admission he stays in Pomefiore bc his pride to prove Vil wrong that âcute isnât a strength on its ownâ  Besides, Pome isnât just about being yourself (despite being art neurodivergent and defying gender norms), itâs also not about picking your fight-instead, itâs about picking the method.
Again, we are fed to the idea femininity is weak by other media and culture. In TW,yes, Â Vil is obectively the most feminine of TW cast, but weak? Definitely not.He can beat the beefy guys physically (PE uniform voice line), easily, and magically, he is strong enough to be able to make barrier than can protect people from MALLEUS (Cater halloween) , and when heâs overblot, he is the only one so far you failed to beat until Deuce used the counterattack using his own magic. Kalim isnât joking or is in the clouds when he says Vil is one of the strongest mage of the school.
Yes, Yana says fuck patterns and stereotypes, but itâs not like she pulls plot twists randomly out of her ass.She always put foreshadowings first. Vil being bullying victim already mentioned as early as his robe story,, that the overblot cause is always something that is already problem to them even BEFORE NRC-Epel was able to curb people before NRC and get away with being a jerk, it wasnât until Vil beat him in opening day that he started to be stressed about the whole manner thing. Â that he doesnât like things that doesnât last from his school uniform, and the previous mentions of Vilâs tutor traits above that heâs not as malicious , not just the mean girl fandom make him to be. Chapter titles always refer to the local great seven incarnate, not specifically the prefect. âDesertâs Tacticianâ is clearly Jamil, not Kalim.Being a strategist is certainly not Kalimâs trait. Chapter title not referring to him, he wasnât stressed before NRC, and the blot dripping scene happes without him, why the surprise itâs not Epel who overblot ? the build up is all there.
