ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSURE.
by the end of the year, túatha dé danann will officially close down. until then you can still roleplay as much as you want, but after that, this server will be archived and serve as such.
why are we closing down?
as much as i, the owner, founder and admin, would refrain from making it too personal, i believe that throughout the summer, i've been geniunely feeling very burnt out from the group to the point i had little to no motivation to keep it going. i thought that moving to a new server would actually work out, but at the end of the day, i didn't see the fun of keeping the group anymore.
this, and some, if not most of us, have little to no time to invest in the group either, whether it be mod or citizen. while it was great for all the nice things and to keep the group together despite its ups and downs, our real life is what matters the most than a roleplay group.
i personally have to admit that i've seen tuatha more than a second job than just a hobby, and if it were for certain factors from the past, the sentiment was further amplified. but enough of that.
what will happen now?
as i mentioned, the group will go on until the end of the year, with how it stands as well. there will be a final event, but other than that, nothing major shall happen-- that even means no eclipse or anything further than that.
but! i may encourage some of our current members, and that have not been there before, to join two of my 'smaller' groups. they are friend- and invite only, and activity is not really a huge requirement there either. (nor are character limits, for the most part).
furthermore, with the closure of tuatha, i will also announce the 'transfer' to another group that i shall announce in the future, and when i believe the time is right, since i shall still work on it in the background.
if you're interested in a dark academia mfrp, then it would be a group for you! and if you're interested in the two other groups, just send a DM, and i shall gladly invite you!
i hope you understand our sentiment and reason behind the closure, and i understand that with all the bonds formed we shall still remain friends and former members, should some of you decide to transfer to the new major group.
