OLD URL: @/obsidiantorturebox. i thought my main thing would be prison angst but then i got insane abt tubbo so i had to rebrand.

FAVE CHARACTERS: there are no characters i dislike but in no particular order currently my faves are tubbo, tommy, dream, george, wilbur, bad, sam, ranboo, and quackity.

i only just got into dsmp at the very end of 2025 so i was not around for the whole phenomenon that it was back in the day and dont care abt discourse. unless otherwise stated everything on this blog is abt the characters; i do not care abt the ccs at all most of the time and as such i only use c/cc prefixes when smth seems ambiguously worded without them (or when tagging original posts for reach).

new lmanburg ctubbo is like you're 16 you're the president of a crater you've rebuilt your country from the ground up you have to choose between your best friend in the entire world and risking the lives of everyone in your country you're so susceptible to peer pressure (that's the same excuse the man who killed you gave) you're having gay thoughts you did a terrible job of arresting a former terrorists and now he's going back to being a terrorist you chose protecting everyone in your country over your best friend and now he's killed himself and it's your fault. you killed your best friend and you're 16 and you can't trust the people close to you and you have to be president. and then everything ends anyways and you're president of a crater again.

i have been seen a bunch of dsmp art on my timeline recently and it's making me nauseous. NOT IN A BAD WAY IN A NOSTALGIC WAY!! i miss the pure joy i felt when listening to derivakat, staying up late at night watching a streamer and racking up all those twitch viewer points to redeem shark glasses on foolish's stream the next day just to see him not only refuse to put them on, but whine about it for 10 minutes all the whole trying to sing some random song in a surprisingly accurate toad impression.

i'm an adult now though. i can't stay up late watching foolish, i have college, work, appointments, or whatever. but maybe redrawing these old characters that created my entire online presence will help me cope with said appointments and work. honestly it probably will, my mood has always improved after drawing foolish, who is definitely my first blorbo.
